I will be 45. I have been single for 6 years. And I am ok with it.

I was your age (38) when I became single... and 13 years later I am still single. I learned many lessons and waited for the right man... but that doesn't mean I didn't have a LOT of fun along the way!!

I don't have a problem being single, I'm comfortable the way I am. I'm happy with myself. But there are things I miss in my life. |

Hey, I turned 36 last week (and a few days0. Although being single again has some advantages... it does have just as many disadvantages. I try not to think about them and just get out and find something fun to do.

I think that age is irrelevant-it's a state of mind. I will be 46 in 2 weeks. I have been single for about 6 years, and don't think about having to have someone in my life. I have met some younger men who are very mature, and some older men who act like they have one foot in the grave! It's all about attitude and you should never have a pre-conceived judgement about someone because of their age. Just an observation...

I think the problem lies in not your age but the age of which you pick these girls......and I say girls..........because you are probably picking on beauty alone.
If I was 22........there would be no way in hell I would date a guy 38!!!

38 is a bad age to find myself single again. Like being stuck in a dating age gap...lol try 48...not exactly a walk in the park...

Great point! I don't want a "girl" I am looking for a woman who is mature enough to know what a relationship is all about... but yet knows how to get out on the town and have fun.
I am quite positive that there are no "girls" here... only mature women of many ages.
