serpent in hebrew is - aruwm -which can mean :snake, or can also mean prudent,sly cunning, it can also mean just reptile, alligator, crocadile, lizard, since it is an upright animal [which can be seen when god curses it and says it will slither on its belly and eat dust] what makes you sure it's even a "snake, yet alone satan? unless you mean to take it figuratively? is that what your saying? if so then why is there no mention as there is in other scripture of satan entering to talk through this animal??

God "DID" make it clear to not eat from the tree of knowledge. And if you do you will die.....which of course if you don't listen to God then what boys and girls......Yes Tanya you are correct that is a sin.

Now the only one great deceiver here is satan and he will always be the "only one" to deceive. How deceitful to tell Eve that if she eat's the fruit her eyes will be opened and like God.....pleaseeeeee. All that eating from the tree did was bring on her sin nature as well as Adam.

Bring on her "sin nature"?? Sin nature is what we are supposed to have ""inherited"" from adam and eve's fall from perfection [innocense], not something they themselves started out with deb, adam and eve were not "created" having a "sin" nature.

Debbie: Now this is important. Before Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree....They were naked and they also walked with God, spoke to God etc, etc, etc, Now another big big deal....Before they sinned they were not ashamed of being naked.....the sin is what caused them not to hear God and to be ashamed.

T: - it says they "heard the voice of the lord" or the "sound" of thee walking." the "SIN" had no affect on their hearing deb they heard him just fine. next point why did almighty all knowing god have to yell and find out where they were deb as to my original question?







11 And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"

T: - why doesn't god know what was going on deb? was he testing them to see if they would lie? if so shouldn't he know that they might? since they now knew evil? and why didn't he know what the answer would be any way? god? all knowing? hmmm?




12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."

13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"

Debbie: And basically now they are going to pay for their disobedience to God. Pretty simple if you think about it....God gave free reign on all of Eden...There only rule was to not eat from the Tree of Knowledge. And they listened to satan instead of God......tisk tisk to Adam and Eve.

Then the rest of the scripture 14 - 24 speaks of the punishments of all three.....satan, Adam and Eve
