But seriously though...
Some people just seem to lack common sense and tact. Not everyone will say 'get nekkid and pour maple syrup all over myself? OKAY!!!' with only one IM or email. Some people are a little more discerning than that.
And it's not just the dudes who do it, either- I've received a number of emails and IMs from a number of ladies who also seemed to think that I'd be open to naughty talk on the first message. If anything, the ladies are even worse, if only because they're much more devious.
