I don't think you can actually fall in love on a first date....I think people are confusing that with feeling strong Chemistry on the first date.....Love is something that develops & grows over time.....

I have read a profile & seen Pictures of a person & been instantly attracted to her....it happened twice & that attraction carried on with emails & phone calls.....

In person I've dated some where the Chemistry was there & strong enough to develop a relationship....I think you kinda know if there is chemistry within that first hour.....

I'm totally over it. I don't know if it was actually love but man was it a shock. Her mother told me they buried her in the town where she was from...anyway thanks.

two people recognize something in each other.
it is overwhelming strong attraction - resulting
from the right combination of personality, smarts,
looks, attitude, mannerisms, humor and sometimes
the cialis/viagra blood level.

laugh

but you know it right away and it is like Niagra
Falls. and when it is right you go over together
holding hands and laughing without fear.

Sorry to hear how things went that would have been a shocker for sure.

As far as falling in love at first meeting yes have had it happen and seemed to be mutual. But guess he fell out of love a lot sooner then I did. But in time we seem to be able to get past those things.

Maybe someday again that will happen and it will be for good. One just never knows.biggrin

YES, I did.
But the first date, lasted seven days,lol..
It was a planed week to spend together.
WE didn't last. But, YES I fell inlove with her.

I am very sorry for your loss of her, and for your forever wondering your two, what-if's..
Sometimes THAT, is more depressing than if you to would have found an issue then broke apart.
Just know everything happens for a reason.
And she was called to be with GOD,wink.

About 5 years ago I met this woman that was fantastic in every way.
It was only suppose to be a lunch date, but I ended up staying with her until 3 in the morning. We didn't have sex, just a kiss goodnight. We did go shopping (which I normally don't like) and she made it so fun I didn't care. She told me she couldn't see me for 2 weeks because she was going to have a minor operation and was preparing for it. Well anyway I called her 2 weeks later and her mother answered the phone and told me she died on the operating table due to complications with the anesthetist. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Looking back I did fall in love with her on the first date.

Has anyone here fell in love (for real) on the first date?
It's VERY possible to fall in love on the first date if everything clicks right and you both are in awe of each other that much.
Sorry to hear about your loss too. Just keep in mind that you gave her one of the best times of her life!!!

I also am so sorry that you had to experience that sadness my friend, but...know this, you had a glimpse of what love could be, such a very special, wonderful feeling that so many of us have never tasted.

The sharing of two
Brings forth the dreams
Of one not realized...

Like a tender kiss
Where you share each others breath
To prolong the union
The true joining of souls.

and falling in love at first sight?
perhaps, with true love your world in limittless and there are no boundaries for the two who share that joy.

Actually, I've fallen in love even before the first date. Risky, yes, but why take the chance of it not being real when it could be and you feel it?
