My s/o would probably say that to me. Actually, not the cell phone. Just the internet. But, I use my cell phone to access the net.

I don't require people in my life to keep all eyes glued on me at all times and give me their undivided attention. I recognize that there are peolple in their life other than me.

Call me old fashioned but I don't have a cell phone and don't need one,and if my signifigent other has one glued to his ear 24 /7 it would be see ya!If you are a doctor or on call that is different but if you are one of these people who can't live without it well forget it! Only my opinion.

Unless it were something that might destroy the relationship.. it isn't fair to ask someone to chose between yourself and/or another. Accept them as they are.

Unless it were something that might destroy the relationship.. it isn't fair to ask someone to chose between yourself and/or another. Accept them as they are. I cant agree with you even more! Thats the one thing I always do with friends, co-workers and that. It seems everyone is looking for the bigger better deal or Mr./Mrs. Perfect and that person is not out there. In another posting a couple gals from here I was talking with (didn't quite get to the first date) have said stuff from their past has scared others off. To me its just a part of life and is history. I also have same problem as have some problems but I don't let them take me down and wish others would do the same. Look past the outside and see whats inside deep down (same thing my heart does and can tell if a person is true or not.) |

Have you ever felt like saying that to your significant other. one of the first online dates i ever had (courtesy of another dating site... i'll never go THERE again) had a real big problem with keeping her Crackberry glued to her thumbs- all she did on our date was text her idiot friends about idiot stuff and take pictures of the food she DIDN'T eat (because she was too busy texting) at the restaurant i took her to. i didn't even pose the cellphone-or-me question to her- she was done right off the bat. |

DON'T BLAME YOU!MOOFOOGUY
i don't blame myself at all.
i'm just saying that i have no qualms about pullin' the plug on a chronic cell phone abuser while on a date. that goes especially for the extreme crackberry users too, who would appear to be the worst at the crackberry abuse. |
