A general question to everyone... How important is height to you? Would you consider dating someone who was noticeably taller or shorter than you? As a reference, say the person was six inches shorter/taller than you. I am curious to hear perspectives from all sides of the spectrum. Thanks! height isn't a factor... to a point. if the other person could pass for a circus midget, then there could be problems. if the other person stands significantly taller than me (which would be rather difficult as i stand 6'8"), then there could be some problems there, too. but overall, height isn't that big a problem. |

I like my guy to be taller than me, I'm 5 foot1 so its not hard to find. I truly like them to be 6 foot or more.

Well, looking at the women that have replied so far, I'm an Amazon.
I'm 5'8" and height matters to me. And I'm talking about a man being my height or taller. I'm taller than a lot of guys, it seems. And there is something funny about this site, because a lot of guys in my area seem to be 5'10", at least on their profile. Some of them lie!  Is every guy in Houston the same height?
Sometimes I struggle with this "issue", because I don't want to rule someone out based on their height. A guy's height used to bother me more when I was younger, it's not as much of a concern now. I'm sure that makes me look shallow to some people, but oh, well. I don't think it's any different than some of the other dealbreakers I see on here. And to the OP, you're cute enough that I'd ignore our height difference.

My preference is 6 foot and taller, but I don't discriminate... unless they are shorter than me... Midgets creap me out. No reason to Live!

My height and shorter is what I prefer.
I dated a girl that was taller than I am once ( she was only a couple of inches taller ) and I just didn't feel comfortable at all. No idea why. |

as long as he's taller than me, that's fine. height does help too when i'm wearing heels.
