I'm over 6, so it's awkward for me when people are approaching my height. Not a big deal, but I'm definitely going to say I prefer shorter.
I don't think that's hard at all to find someone shorter than me. I don't care how short as long as it's not super short... like maybe under 4 feet would be a bit much... |

Typically, I'm not the person with the issue of height. Usuallly, it's the guy. I've dated as tall as 6'6" and as short as 5'6". I'm 6ft tall so most of the time I am with shorter guys. As long as they can deal with my wearing heels and being able to reach things they can't..I'm cool..lol.

i'm 6'2 and have only dated one girl close to my height...I thought it would make things more 'comfortable' so to speak..but that wasn't the case i prefer shorter girls now.. 5'8 and under..might go for a taller chick if i knew she was the 'one' but i prefer shorter

I perfer someone my own size or smaller. I have a never date anyone that can kick my ass rule. lol

But seriously, I've always dated shorter, but I like having things on eye level. If she doesn't mind kissing me in heels, I can work with it.  Just realized how that sounds. I mean her eyes on eye level, not her . . .

A general question to everyone... How important is height to you? Would you consider dating someone who was noticeably taller or shorter than you? As a reference, say the person was six inches shorter/taller than you. I am curious to hear perspectives from all sides of the spectrum. Thanks! Well, I'm 5'10" and for some reason everybody I've been with is either like 5'0" or 5'8". OK, the last one was 5'3" which was a nice change, actually. But I wouldn't mind if someone was 5'2" or 5'7" or whatever -- it just never happens that way. I did date one girl who was 6'1" and that was kind of interesting! But overall, I'd say height isn't too important to me. It's always been more about the person than the statistics. |

One of the greatest guys I ever dated was several inches shorter than me. Unfortunatly I chose my ex over him because my ex told me he was ready to settle down with ring and all in hand. (BTW my ex was one of the taller guys I dated
 )

he has to be my height or taller. because i love to wear my boots with heels or wedged shoes and usually guys who are shorter hate that.. my ex and i was the same height and he didnt like me wearing heels because then id be taller.

I am 5'9 in bare feet...3 inch heels I hit 6' So height can be something of an issue with me. I love heels. Not saying if someone were shorter I'd choose not to get involved with them but they would have to be secure enough with themselves that me being taller wouldn't be an issue...
