I never heard of a guy that could say anything after hearing a woman say that it's purely physical. All I was trying to say is to objectify men with honorable intent shows that you have different opinions. It doesn't show that we don't hear you or respect our differences. Just because we don't agree doesn't mean we are stupid. I know a lot of intellegent women and they don't act this way.

I agree with you, but this guy was soooooo into himself he couldn't understand how she wasn't madly in love with him.... I used to go out with this guy in college and it was very casual...(ie, never slept together or much of anything else for that matter) we would go out about once every three weeks or so and kiss... He said to me one day 'I just wanna be friends" and I said "I thought we were friends were we in a relationship?" he said "no" I said "good cuz I'd hate to tell the other guy that I was cheating on you with him" He never spoke ot me again... The male ego is such a delicate thing...sheeeeesh. |

Over dinner tonight discussing relationships with another female we came to the conclusion that MOST men IN OUR OPINION don't listen to what we say but rather hear what they want to. example. She says: I missed you today. He hears: I want to make babbies with you and marry you tomorrow. She says: Let's take things slow. He hears: I'm going to say whatever you need to hear so that I can get you into a relationship. she says: This is purely physical He hears: I don't want you to see anyone else only me. These of course are emotionally unavailable men... like we didn't see that one... yet they are still acting as if we care....  i'm sorry... what did you say? i wasn't paying attention. |
