At least IM's interactive! I read in the paper that some have dumped their partners with a text message. in some muslim countries, husbands have been divorcing their wives by sending them the text msg 'i divorce you' three times. (in the islamic tradition, a husband may tell his wife 'i divorce you' three times to break all ties). no religious or legal court can contest this. that's pretty scary.

texing so-long is the cowards way out, even worse than the phone. But to divorce that way is just shear horror. I thought they said modern techno is for the better, I sometimes have my doubts. As for the valentine card thats really painfull, what a bitch. I thought a dude going off to the john whilst on a date , then just not coming back was pretty raw.

yeah, like ezgoin said, the worst breakups are just before valentine's day or before a birthday. i had that happen to me once, but i think i've repressed it, cos i dont rememeber which occasion it happened on...

I usually get dropped by means of the girl suddenly "dropping" off the face of the earth. They just end it with no warning or anything. This has happened to me 4 times in a row now.

How about coming home from work and all the rented furniture is gone, along w/ all his clothing. And his boss hasn't heard from him. And your stuck w/ the $10,000. bill for the furniture.

The worst one could be someone completely disappearing from your life. When he/she stops attending all your phonecalls, IM's etc. He/She never tells you he/she wants to end it all up. The person just ditches you without informing.

i do not think there is any good way to break up with someone.but if i must choose.it probroly be someone who is straight up and tells the other person how it is and why they want to break up and wouldn`t care how it effects them,and can walk away like nothing is wrong

The worst way I've been dumped was through a text message on Easter. Funny part about all this was, I was at Hooters eating chicken wings with my sister and catchin up with a friend that works there.
