My guess is this: There are too many "fake" people incapable of even understanding the meaning of the term "true" let alone capable of grasping the concept surrounding it. And the part I don't get? Truth is sooooo much easier than lies. In order to portray and exude truth one must own it. It's sometimes referred to as self-respect. Just food for thought...."lol"

Can we agree to disagree? LOL In my opinion, true love does exist but it is fragile, so precious and yet so taken for granted that it is fleeting. Even the word itself is grossly abused: "I love my car", "I love my dog", "I love my new jeans"......... Making sense? Therefore, when we are bless with that "one", that "true love" we must strive to give more than we expect to receive and should our partner do the same...... well, you do the math.

you are so right dixie. I loved completely, giving so much and all of me to that man that I though I wanted forever. He however did not see love the same as I. He took it all, and disrespected it. Beat it down, abused it, and kicked it out the door. For he had other "love" waiting on the phone. Some people think of love selfishly, not realizing that when you give love, and it is given back, unselfishly, without condition, then it is truly love. I will find that someone, who God knows is worthy of my love. When I least expect it, he will come to me.
