I just wanted to get other's advice as to why men do not want a good thing anymore. I have been single for five years, yet all that know me, tell me I am an awesome woman with a great personality. I have tried dating sites, and don't get too many responses and the ones that I do.. are pretty much just players or someone looking for a one night stand. I have been told I am attractive and funny. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I have morals and standards, cook, clean, faithful, honest.. you name it.. good old gal here. I just don't get it, and get asked all the time why someone like me is single? I don't know how to respond anymore, except to say, I don't know either. LOL. I am very independent and just ready in life to settle down and find the right one eventually. Hopefully before I hit 80, ya think?? LOL

well, on this site, it may be the fact that you put down on your page that you have been single by choice. other than that you seem like a catch to me.

I wonder the same thing. I just keep picking the wrong ones and I think that's what I'm going to say you are probably doing too. Finding the right one is hard....VERY hard. I've tried other dating sites too and I just don't understand. You say in your topic "Why don't men want a good thing anymore.." Well, I'm looking for that good thing...I REALLY want that good thing. I've been looking for a very long time and I just can't seem to find her. Not all men are players just like not all women are players... We just need to go through the steps...

There is more to it than being attractive, funny, good personality etc. chemistry, sparks, w/e you want to call it. Maybe thats not there for them? Sometimes it just isnt. Don't worry about it. Keep up the search.

guys want a good thing..but obviously in your case..they dont know that what they have is a good thing

so before a men v.s woman fight starts ill say this not all men are bad and not all women are bad but wow it sure seems like both sexes have gotten more shallow and greedy and slimy.
