If we're only as old as we feel, I must be ancient! Most mornings I hurt so bad I can hardly get out of bed. So I'm either getting old or all those years of abusing my body are catching up to me...lol |

It's all more due to the "youth-driven" culture that we've all fallen victim to the last decade or two. Everything is focused on the twenty-something crowd that those thirty and over are almost completely ignored.
Pop musicians, sports stars, actors/actresses, even news reporters and anchors all have to be under thirty in order to be considered relevant. Go over that age, and you're considered "quaint" or "overqualified". I can remember being a kid in the eighties and seeing how you could have rockstars in their thirties (or older) and NOT be going through a "reunion" tour, for god's sake. |
