wow

cute Voila!!!!!!!!

makes you nervous, doesn't it?

let's look at this.

Because I depict that which is sincerely the walk as the scripitures show, and because I say that I am a christian and walk this way because of the way it is, I am given this crown of thorns from you?

these are not my stripes, Voila!!!!!, they are stripes for Jesus from you.

It is not me you hate and despise, it is Christ in me.

I wear that cross, Voila!!!!!!.

I share in His suffering every day, as all true christians do.

But not by everyone.

and men such as you in your callous and arrogant misfortunes that afford you the audacity to impose upon my person vainglorious contempt is appalling.

What would a christian stand for to please your self righteous superiority as judge of christians?

Are you the appointed fruit inspector general,Voila!!!!! ???????????????

Is that your precious god given talent?

or have you made an encore presentation for my personal viewing pleasure?

Is it the truth you see, or is it a clever machination of a cunning orator that is getting about to deceive you and project a false image that you may read of in wonder and dream of for yourself?

Do you wish to ever know that a christian is as one should be?

Your words lend me many questions, Voila!!!!!!!!!

They are best served in your own heart, in the sanctity of your own privacy, not here where I can offer to you that your jesting is a display of your hardened and sarcastic self appointed judgements as the one true arbiter of facilitation and merit.

You take issue with what? Voila!!!!!

me?, or that I can articulate the walk?

if it is me, you applaud yourself that you have the sense to not be one of those christians.

Or is it the walk that you take issue with, my accomplished and learned friend?

Have you forsaken all to know and bear the scars and turmoil and stresses and offenses to call me into question as though I had not?

On the contrary, Voila!!!!!!!!!

Had you ever entered into that which you judge now as you do, it would be the furthest contemplation in your mind to act on.

With that, I give you yourself.

The Void calling the broken vessel made right for the Lord, a counterfeit.

How charming a reduction of your integrity, O significant One.

try again.

this was a swing and a miss of biblical proportions.

use your head and your wit this time, not your nervous arrogance and pride in ignorance.

Speak O wise one.

Tell of your sweet judgement and knowledge off all things in Christ and how you sit in judgement and on what basis in fact.

Come come, Voila!!!!!!!!!!

step up to the plate and be convincing in your assessment of me.

Don't be shy.

God will not intervene.

Will he?

you are his arbiter, aren't you?

think what think what think what think

slaphead

By the evidence of this post, my 'assessment of you' as you mentioned, hit the bull's eye!

I'm sorry it caused you such grief. All those desperate words!!! I feel for you wouldee.

But a slower read, might yet release you from all this self-imposed suffering, if you only stopped with the delusional 2nd coming stuff, and truly listened for god's inspired counsel, rather than all those annoying voices in your head.

So it is or is not okay too assume then that there is not specific time frame prior the first "day", and that life could possibly have been there, just not in the listed forms given in Genesis?

That seems somewhat contradictory to me...

Not to mention that we already went over this contradiction. It was never succinctly or efficiently answered by the fundies. Check this out.

"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."

Night and day made on the first day correct?

"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the fourth day."

Now he's talking about making the sun but not until the 4th day! There is no continuity presumably because this was written by a bunch of different people. No to mention that no one is creating the sun. It’s been here for quite some time. The sun is the star at the centre of the solar system. The Earth and other matter (including other planets, asteroids, meteoroids, comets, and dust) orbit the sun. I hate to be a stickler for the details once again but we aren’t going through the inquisition of Galileo here folks...we all understand these basic concepts as it relates to modern day Astronomy.

I think god needs a day planner....or an admin assistant or at least a better editor for his writings.

wouldee,

you've got to take a break from your 'inside' world, and check with reality once in a while.

Capitaine Haddock took out 'Hook' long ago!!!

If you're suggesting, with this delsion of yours, that I'm 'out', you seriously need a reality check!!!

In the beginning, before man, the Garden of Eden ,the high and mighty Lord Gazza and hopscotch, God sat around in space idly twiddling his thumbs, and waiting for a call from the girl he'd met whilst out clubbing the night before. But that ***** never called, damn her. For unbeknownst to him, she was getting down wit' his cousin.. Glen.

However, he was growing impatient, and decided that he wasn't going to let women control his life. He went over to his desk and started drawing up plans for a race of beings so powerful, so handsome, so divine, that he might even have bowed down to them himself had he come before them. Unfortunately for dinousaurkind, God's bit on the side called at that very moment and he ran for the phone, spilling the hot cup of steaming coffee all over his sketches.

Thus, the dinousaur was born. Oh... and toaster streudels

Moses wrote the book of Genesis. The first 5 books in the OT are called the Pentateuch.

There was one writer, Moses.

Be that as it may, it is the beginning of the story of Judaic thought and discourse that led to the culmination of all that it brought in Jesus' messages referrring back to such things in the hearts and minds of those he found himself deliberately among.

It is intriquing how the writings of one man can be interpreted so many ways from the basis of wanting the writing to say something it doesn't about man, and how it speaks to all things about man that garner universal attention after all of these years. The assumptions made that Moses' writings must be discounted and discredited , at all, smacks of censorship and mind control in ill-conceived motives and agendas.

Reducing his writings to myth and fabrication explains why those that do not comprehend the God of Abraham insist that the God of Abraham is a fabrication.

Moses didn't think so.

That is apparent in his writings.

That is more so the loss of those discounting Moses' writings, but does not preclude Moses from having heard from God, Himself.

History has proved that mankind does still embrace faithful adfherence to that which it knows of itself. However steeped in the boservstion that Moses' writings are not completely universal in their appeal.

But for so many people in this generation to hold his writings in reverence and preserve them and honor them is evidenced in all faiths eminating from them as a source of cognitive awareness that God is involved in the writings themselves.

If it were put to a democratic vote, worldwide, to establish his writings as inexecuseable throughout the world today, not a skeptic on the planet would be free to suspend belief.

That is intriquing, indeed.

Who wrote the Pentateuch..

"The Islamic god Allah is the same ‘god’, the Muslims say, as the Judeo-Christian, Jehovah. The Koran is the Islamic holy book, but Muslims also give credence to the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Old Testament attributed to Moses. In truth they were written by the Levites after Babylon and not by ‘Moses’, which was a title in the Egyptian mystery schools."

Christianity, Judaism and Islam all have their roots in the same dogma which stems from Babylon.

"Muslims see Islam as an updated continuation of the Judeo-Christian stream and they, too, trace their ancestry back to our old mate, Abraham, who is said to have emerged from the Sumerian city of Ur and headed for Egypt.

They believe that Abraham built the Kaaba, the sacred shrine at Mecca, and the focus of pilgrimage for Muslims all over the world. But it was in fact originally a Pagan temple of goddess (Semiramis) worship featuring the famous Black Stone."

After this, Illuminati intends to reinstall the Y2K bug for all computers, even the thousand Apple Macs in the world, and change the bug so it implodes computers on December 21, 2012. Icke says the machines will actually explode and reduce the worlds population to 533 million people. Yeh, very funny. Ridicule is a tool of the bad guys.

There are many who do the best they can to discredit David Icke because he tells the truth no matter what.

If you have not read his book then I suggest you do before you pass judgment on the messenger.

Look at the information. Yes, it sounds crazy. Its a crazy world we live in.

You can download his book for free if you want. Email me and I will send you a link.

Should we go down the list here of your corrupt fundamentalist and evangelical clergy and their little discrepancies? Only if thats the game you want to play of course?

Hmmm, meth sales and prostitution come to mind...

Okay well you tell me then, since I just don’t understand or it is simply a miscommunication according to you. Was it the 1st day or the 4th based on what I just posted...?

krimsa,

it says the sun was lit on the fourth day.

the 'day' cannot be a 24 hour period, then, can it?

hebrew is clear. The word for 'day' means a span of time, which can include a week a month, a year. Context has to be established.

Without context, it is a deliberately ambiguous word.

In the case of genesis, it is not ambiguous to expect that the glaring contradiction of assuming that a day is a 24 hour period is clear by its use. nthere is no contradiction, only the reality that Hebrew does not have a spercific word for 'day' in the writing.

That is their way.

They think.

===========================

As to 'light' in day one and 'light' on day four, there is a difference in determining what light is being expressed.

there are two different words used.

In day four the word used for 'light' is relevant to the thought in the grammatical sentence structure itself. it says, "to give light upon the earth" specifically.

Dqay one uses a word that means illumination or luminary, or happiness and has a variety of meanings in context.

on day four, the word for light means a luminous body and is specific in that regard. i.e. the 'light' of a candle is what is meant.

On day four, Moses is saying that God lit the sun.

sprked it to life. lit the fire. started the engine. struck that match.

get it?

create light then make the lamp. ahhhhh

Now the word given "darkness" is the same word for darkness in both cases.

it comes from a root word which means"dark" (as in witholding light).

But the word itself is different in that it has a wide range of use as 'darkness'. It can and does also mean (according to context) literal darkness, and figuratively, it means misery, ddestruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness.

The Hebrew language is wonderous and a beautiful language able to express a myriad of thoughts in a myriad of ways, unlike any other language.

It is not its inherent weakness, after all.

It is the its very strength.

It polices itself from corruption and distortion by translation.

It is not excused, but rather defended in its meanings and uses as a tool of communication.

supernatural, perhaps. laugh
