I'm a big book person.....love to read and always looking for good books. Fiction and non-fiction. So, if you're a reader, what are you reading or what have you recently read that you recommend?

I just read a book by Christopher Rice (Anne's son). Blind Fall, it was called. It is a military sic finding yourself, deal with childhood issues and especially homosexuality book.

I give it a B-.... but I'm a tough judge. I also liked King's newer book, Duma Key. Refreshing from his usual kitty cat Maine books.

Anything by Janet Evanovich. She has a collection of comedy-drama books about a bumbling female bond enforcer named Stephanie Plum.. Hilarious..

I've been busy revisiting Twain. It's been incredibly fun, but prolly nothing "new" to you.

I guess I would highly recommend anything Twain or most certainly "Walden" as far as any RE-reads.

Currently reading the Mars Trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson. It's about the terraforming of Mars and the people who enact it.

I love mysteries. I very much enjoy the series of mysteries by Susan Wittig Albert. They all deal with deadly herbs and/or plants. She gives a realistic and fun bunch of characters and places, plus I learn so much about different herbs and plants, historically and as to their uses.

These are great suggestions, thanks! I'm actually writing these all down. I just finished Child 44, about a serial killer in communist Russia. Very good....I highly recommend it. I also read a lot of books on the occult.....non fiction. Usually reading several of those at once. I was thinking of starting the Blue Bloods series.

laugh Yes, but for us bookworms the internet has made it even better. You can get a lot of books online for free......older books, but still good.

I am an avid reader as well, I read at least 2 to 3 books a week.
The latest that I have read and recommend:
"Lily" by RR Walters
"Every Secret Thing" by Laura Lippman
"Tell No One" By Harlan Coben
"True Evil" By Greg Iles

Anne Rice was my favorite writer for the Witches Chronicals but her Vampire Series took a turn and I quit reading her.
I have every book Stephen King has ever written.
