Do you desire someone in your life, as in need someone to complete you? Or do you want someone who is there for you, but not attached at the hip?

I want someone to complete me but is not attached at the hip because then I would have to remove them.

my problem is that i was in love with someone who suddenly stopped loving me so then, i met a cowboy who was so much over the moon for me, total affection and loving and I guess that is what I needed in retrospect. but he was smothering and is too much. I just want a good guy who is taller than me. I can complete myself I guess, but I would like someone there to witness it all, share with me and be my best friend who is good at sex.

Since the fella I care most about lives 200 miles away, guess you could say I don't need him to be complete.On the other hand my life is so much better with him in it.

I don't necessarily think I " need " someone to complete me. As far as being " attached at the hip "...that kinda drives me nuts. I would rather have someone who has no problem going and doing stuff on her own, as long as she's happy to come home to me when she's done.

I long for someone to be there (here) for me. Emotionally and physically. I don't need to be attached to them 24 hours a day, but just to know that they are there if I need them.
