ahhhhhh brook, don't sweat it..I felt the same way when i first joined
this site..been on now for almost 2 months and i've made a lot of
friends..give it time, get involved with the threads on here and trust
me, u will feel welcomed..I dont get a whole lot of emails either, lots
of views..lol..but its all good..i like it here, made some good
friends..lots of good people in here, fun too.

have to give it time. Go into forums and make friends...that's what
I've done and now look at my page- 22 friends that I talk to on a
regular basis. Sure, I've not found love but something better!!

It's not that I wanted to block out the country...I came to a dating
website to find, well, a date. I'm not against making friends at all.
It's just that, in my experience, the women whom I meet on dating sites
after we meet and she decides that she feels no
spark/chemistry/feeling/instinct/something special/etc. with me and
wants to be just friends, it's WomanSpeak for "Don't ever talk to me
EVER again..." Plus, does anyone really want a long-distance

Hey Brooklyn – give it time. I had the same experience. When I first
signed up, must have sent out 25 emails trying to connect – noting,
nada, zip. Then a wonderful person introduced me to these threads & now
I get a few emails. Seems this is like any community where ya have to
step in, make statements, talk back & forth & become known, as in Build
those relationships.
Just a note on your profile, from my view in the first few sentences
your portraying the very thing your trying to denounce. Suggest a reword
in the positive.
