Oh yeah, I just read my first post and I said I haven't ever gotten a
response. I exaggerated. I've had a few, but as you can see, none have
worked out. And so far I haven't talked to anyone on here yet who has
any more than passing interest.

It's not that I wanted to block out the country...I came to a dating
website to find, well, a date. I'm not against making friends at all.
It's just that, in my experience, the women whom I meet on dating sites
after we meet and she decides that she feels no
spark/chemistry/feeling/instinct/something special/etc. with me and
wants to be just friends, it's WomanSpeak for "Don't ever talk to me
EVER again..." Plus, does anyone really want a long-distance
relationship with someone in NYC?

...or am I ugly? I've sent out hello messages to people my age and not
one response. I look at their profile, see something interesting and I
e-mail them more than "Hey baby whassup." They've all read them (this
site tells you that) and not one e-mail at all...Every site I go to and
not one e-mail from anyone...if I can't even meet one person on here,
I'm done with dating completely. I'm just going to start buying hookers
until I get a disease and die.
