I have made some really good friends on here and am closer to some of them than people in real life. I talk to a few on the phone regularly, one is like my sister, another like my brother, and a few others are good friends. I would do anything to help them if they needed it and they have helped me out in the past, one in particular.
But, yes, I do consider them real friends, even though we have not met in real life. |

Do you concider some of your friends on here as real friends? I was told by somone and they can reply to this if they want to or not, but. They said that they don't consider any of there frinds on the frinds list as a real friend till they meet them. So whats your thoughts? And for the ONES that I have met in-person,,,THEY are my REASONING for believing in THAT,,wink,,

Obviously there are different levels of friendship...
I have made a lot of friends on here and we talk a lot...But would I run to bail any of them out of jail?....

Absolutely I consider them friends, true friends...A few I have met in person..some I havent I can tell you there are several people here that I hope I have formed lifelong friendships with..These men and women have helped me thru a tough time or two, IM'd me , emailed me, talked to me on the phone...
You dont have to meet someone in person to call them a friend..jmo |

Yeah as most of us that have been on this site for somoe time. Your going to make at least one good friend on here. just my opinion, to say none of your frends on your frinds list mean nothing to you. Why have them then? The folks on my friends list are folks who have helped me, or I helped them. No, I don't talk to all of them all the time. But, its nice to know they are there. Friends. |

Of course. I have talked to a couple of people on the phone and have spent hours messaging then and creating a bound. You do not have to meet them in person to create that type of bound.

Possibly. And it depends. I have one friend I met on here, but we've met offline, so that doesn't match your specifications. Otherwise, I've not been on here long enough to really meet and get to know that many people.

I have people I consider real friends on here. It's the 21st century, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Toto! Times are changing, and I for one embrace this opportunity to meet new friends thousands of miles away!
