Well you know what they say about beauty. It’s in the eye of the beholder. Of course "cute" and "hot" don’t necessarily translate to beautiful but generally, they are all considered compliments in one form or another.
What one man or woman finds attractive, another wont at all. You just never know with people. I tend not to worry about it.  |

No I don't . I my self don't think I am pretty enough, but most women think this way.

There are no perfect men, nor perfect women. It doesn’t mean we need to lower expectations either. I tend to just go into this with a "see what happens" kind of attitude. That helps a lot to decrease the pressure when meeting a new person for the first time. Also, if you go out with someone and there is no chemistry, that is not a reason why you still cant have a good experience for the time you are out together.

If being called cute was meant to be a compliment that is how I take it & thank the person....of course I always like to say, "even ugly people can be cute sometimes".....but i like to give compliments & get them too....

I have noticed that grown men generally have an aversion to being referred to as "cute".
Some women don’t care for it either as it tends to imply you are unsubstantial or childlike in some way. I don’t think that is always the intended meaning of course but it can be interpreted in this fashion. |
