Pray Until Something Happens. I saw this sign at one of our local churches and thought it was cool. Have you found that you need knee pads because some churches have hard floors?

god answers all prayers......usually that answer is a resounding "NO"

After seeing the sign it made me think of the song, "Boney Fingers". Maybe you have heard the words to the song. It goes something like this: "Work your fingers to the bone. What do you get boney fingers."

So have you ever taken God with you to Walmart's?

How about pray and then get up and do something.

Not a bad idea. I have heard the Lord helps those who help themselves. I have been wanting to help myself to one of those big televisions.

Then after you get one of the big televisions with high definition, that hooks to your computer, plays movies, hooks to your telephone with pictures, then you will never go anywhere or do anything again.

Ain't that the truth? And I don't need any prayer to become a hermit because it is a natural for me.

what if prayer is only wishing well for others that come to your mind, and passing demons is only wishing ill of those that come to mind, lol.......

all thoughts do have measurable energy, and if so, good ones good energy, and ill ones ill energy, so seem maybe more important than prayer is to speak the bad ones, and get them the "hell" out of the body........oops, no pun intended, lol.....

Another way to look at it I guess. This morning I met with the church that we have our AA meetings in. Their secretary left us a note for us to read last night. Our GSR or I should say designate since our chief dish and bottle washer booked has been worried. We didn't want to get exorcised. I turned the treasury over to an older member for our meeting since I thought she was more qualified for the position. A month later she promptly turned it back over to me. It was like that Life commercial with Mikey. "I don't want it. I don't want, either. Okay, lets give it to Mikey." So I became the treasurer designate until we can get enough members. That was the general consensus of the Group Service Representative with me. The secretary of the church told us we could just put the money for rent in a drawer but the designate GSR wouldn't go for that since our last treasurer ran away with the money. So this morning I got a receipt from the secretary of the church showing our rent is paid up till October. To us it was rent but to her it was a love offering. Whatever. Atleast we won't get discommunicated for trying to do the right thing.

Pray as if everything depended upon God and work as if everything depended upon man.
