I am not very attractive, so most men don't look twice. The ones that do notice I am hard working & generous, & think I am desperate because of my appearance, therefore they think I will support them & put up with anything.

Because the man i was just engaged to that i happend to meet on here and we have been living together went behind my back on this site and found another girl who is only 16 and he is 23....cheated on me with her and is now dating her...that would be why i am single...

A number of reasons.
Like the four "s"s.... Shy, sensitive, suspicious and short. I've been told my standards are a little high...but hey, we all have standards. I don't think mine are unrealistic. My first rule of dating is never settle. Look for the compatible. Still, some people interpret compatible with high standards. wtf? I also think that every time I'm close, I subconsciously pull away or do something that will push her away. Call it a defense mechanism. I'm so used to being single, deep down, being with someone scares me. |
