Just wondering out there why everything in america now has to be politically correct, and anything we say will offend anybody nowadays.

No, I was just wondering why are we so limited in this society, and everything now is so restrictive...I can't say what I want to, even the last posting was just about the moderators restricting us too much on here, and didn't see the point why that topic got removed...either that, or somebody needs to send the moderators to sensitivity class

Theres a lot of stuff getting said that I have problems with. I thought our society had moved past a lot of this stuff but now this presidential election has opened my eyes to the realities of ingrained prejudices.

Yeah, it's just when my dad was growing up, you could be open about anything, and society was more relaxed...now we're to the point where anything we say, is affecting different religious groups, or being worried about being sued by somebody else

Im seeing a lot of rascist and bigoted stuff being said more openly than anytime in my life.

why not start your own site, that way you can have total control, say what you like, to whom you like, however you like without regards to consequences while utilizing another's property it's either play by their rules or play elsewhere jmo

Because we have allowed the lawyers to sue for anything. This is brought on from groups like NAACP, Hispanics, Ect. saying they are entitled to moneys for crimes a centurie or two ago. What happened in the past should be used to guide us in the future.Let the buried bones rest where they may be. MPO.

Why would you want to go out of your way to hurt people's feelings? It's not about hurting peoples feelings, it's about our right to free speech. The freedom to speak without legal repercussions. aside from actual slander and libel, which are the saying or printing of something you KNOW to be false, with the intention of damage the other persons reputation, livelihood, or family life.

This post right here is another violation of site rules. If you don't read and understand the site rules, don't complain when they are enforced. If you don't want to abide by the site rules, try myspace.

I know, but even it's comments we say when it's just that, our opininons, they don't even have to be true..why do other people get their panties in a wad and are so concerned about ruining their lives, families, when it's just that, our opinions?

I'm just saying winx, and yes I know there are rules, we could just be more open on here is all i would say if you have a problem with the rules petition the ones making them to change them.telling the patrons of their site how unfair they are before fallowing through the proper channels is not aq good way to go about doing it. its like when you have a problem with the way your boss does something and instead of taking it up with him first. you go over his head.if i were them id be kinda pissed. just my opinion tho.
