I suppose you need to have a "FAITH" type belief system to have reality in your face and then deny it. I suppose thats why so many born agains run drooling to the republican party.

Zap, You never add anything to a thread other than name calling and inuendos, insults, accusations, and bad attempts at humor! Are you afraid to add facts or even an opinion that can stand solidly without all your self-bravado and hype? You never add anything of value to a thread at all. I sometimes wonder how your insults are not moderated as others are! I have been warned and suspended for far less than you have posted daily! You need to grow-up!!

But seriously what god awful kind of government would formulate reasons to start a war? sure I cant spell worth a hoot nor do I care enough to use a spell but with all my limitations even I can see how crazy messed up this is. For anyone to even enable it why in my book its just nuts!@

Ive never been a big fan of Pulitzer Prize winner, although their are many prestigious categories with the awards in those categories going to some very intelligent people. On the other hand what this particular man has suggested is not unheard of from history. Certainly not enough to be scoffed at and totally disregarded as a lie. Esp. coming from Cheney and the current Administration of known liars with a history of similar activity and lies! I have looked and I cant prove this to be truth or lie. So Im kinda neutral, but definitely leaning against the idea of it being a lie. Mostly based on the credibility of the Author and the incredibility of the Bush Administration!

What I find realy creepy is that they were sitting around in Cheny's office trying to figure out a way to start a war not even that that was rejected as an idea just that they were trying to start one. As if enough people havent died allready

Have you heard Cheney's statement about Georgia? It's rather scary that this man has so much influence over Bush. I was reading something one day where the Republicans were saying, that if they lose the election in Nov, Bush and Cheney were thinking of bombing Iran before the Dems take over. Just so they could ensure their policies were committed into the next Presidency!

They have more than that! They have an anti-tank missile that when used in Lebanon recently gave the Israeli's hell! I saw Pentagon estimates that if we invade Iran they expect the losses seen in Iraq in the first week of combat alone!
