Is it a place for you to just make friends? Is it a site for you to find a match? Do you use them to find other people with similar ideas and opinions as yours?

Do you ever meet with the people from JSH/Mingle2. same sex or not, to just have lunch and chat or do you just keep it to the forums?

Would you be willing to travel to see a JSH/Mingle2 buddy without any intent of a dating relationship and if so, how far is your limit for just a friend?

I am looking for friends and more on this site. I have actually met someone through this site and enjoyed the experience. I would be willing to meet someone as a friend but not too far. Gas prices are way too high!

I came on this site to hopefully find the one for me.But in the process I have met some great friends,as well as ones I havent met yet.Hopefully I will soon though.

So for me, it is a mixture of friends, acquaintances and possibly someone very special for me to love and be loved by.

I came here in the vague hope that I may find someone who can deal with me in all my quirky glory.

That hasn't happened yet. But I have made some friends here, and that's always a bonus.

i met the love of my life on here .we just broke up sadly enough but last year a few of us got together in albany new york for a lil get together and had a blast.this is really just a place for freinds for me and thats about it.

I am glad everyone here has had a positive experience with these sites.

I too have just had lunch with a new friend from here and yes, I have fallen hard for a certain guy who frequents these columns too.

I have been on other dating sites before (idiot Match.com) and have had nothing but heartache and frustrations.

But here, everyone seems to have common decency and know that you have to be friends first before you think of anything further.

I am looking forward to a few key people's reactions to this post too. Peccy for one. He always has such interesting topics, maybe I, for once, have interested him?
