I have more!
When was the last time you were there?

Actually about 4 months ago.

I believe that the last time you were there was 20 years ago ... of course you would be right up to date with what is going on.

Most of those articles you have used before. got a little library of them, have you? They must be a little worn and dog-eared now.

So, because you are scared to leave you hut in the woods, you believe that all Americans should be afraid to come to Europe?

I also think that the majority of financial troubles in Europe stem from your inability to control your own budget.

Would you like me to start googling American deficits, American reposessions, the homeless, the immigrants?

Go back to your hut in the woods and let the real people live

Nope,

I think they should all go and see for themselves what the millions of the rest of us Americans, who have already been to Europe, have seen.
Its a nice place to visit, but there's nothing finer than to be right here in the world.
The World, that's what we called the States. You know, AMERICA!!

Europe is OK, but its far far from utopia!!

No one said it was utopia, apart from you bringing it up ... lol

and if you think the US is utopia then you really need to get a life.

You call the States, The World? A trifle arrogant, dont you think?

I call it a small part of the world.

But then that probably because I have seen a lot of the world.

Not America, I admit, but enough of the world to know that you are delusional if you think the world begins and ends with the US.

It truly is the most wonderful and beautiful place in the world!

You could live in one of the largest most technological Cities in the world, or one of the most isolated and remote wildernesses.
You can live at over a mile above sea level to below sea level.
You can live with Grizzlies and Mt Lions for neighbors or sea crabs and logger-neck turtles, scorpions and Road Runners or beaver and muskrats.
You can live with Canadian, or Italian America neighbors, Jewish, German, Chinese, Hungarian, Japanese, or any one of the S American people as neighbors. Russian, Ukrainian, Irish, Scottish, Swedish, English, Iraqi, Iranian, Syrians, Lebanese, Jordanians, or Egyptian! Republicans or Democrats, Communist or Socialist, or just plain old Independents.
This truly is the World my friend and many Americans never see it all or even wish to see it all. You can travel the country freely or be content in the same town you were born in your whole life!
Your choice!
Freedom is Grand!!
America is Great!!

So, the republicans pull a publicity seeking stunt and you buy it.

There are great natural wonders all over the world, there are people who yearn for and work towards living good lives, for their families, nations and the world, there are people who seek to educate themselves and aspire to high standards in every part of the world.

Is the United States something special? Well yes it is...are we the best at everything? No Do we have some moral higher ground than other nations? No

Anyone who thinks so must have blinders on.

Will I leave the country if I don't like the administration? HELL NO

It is my duty as a U.S. citizen to stay and try to make this a better country.

No Europe is nothing like it!
Even the Swiss Alps cant compare to the Rockies, and Ive see the Alps!.
Europe has no Grand Canyon, not that I saw.
I never saw anywhere you could drive a tank of gas out of a car before you see another gas station like you can in Texas.
I never saw anywhere in Europe that you could stand in an Ocean of grain and see nothing else for as far as you could see.
Or step back in time in the Appalachians with the Cherokee Indians. Or Forest where you could hike for days and never see another human! Or stand on the shores of Lakes and Rivers you cant see across on a good day. The Great Salt Lake, Carlsbad and Bristol Caverns, or White Sands National Park with its seas of white Gypsum Dunes.
There are a lot of things here I have only heard about myself.
Like the Giant Redwoods or Death Valley, and I have yet to see the Great Northwest and its wonders. The Golden Gate Bridge, Yellowstone, and the Black Hills.
I could Go on and on for days and still not mention something.
You really should come visit for about 20 yrs and see a little of it, or 5 yrs and see a tiny bit of it! We even have Moose, Elk, and Wild Mt Goats. Wolf, Coyote, and otter!

But then you have never been able to straddle two tectonic plates in the US.

I never saw anywhere you could drive a tank of gas out of a car before you see another gas station like you can in Texas.

Thats because you have never been to the Steppes

Oh this is going to be so tedious ...

Lets face it, you have never been anywhere that the army didnt send you, or you took a break from the army to go visit.

I never saw anywhere in Europe that you could stand in an Ocean of grain and see nothing else for as far as you could see.

Thats because we dont horde it, and it would repulse me to think of the starving millions on your doorstep that needed that food.
But that's a social conscience for you.

Or step back in time in the Appalachians with the Cherokee Indians.

No, we go to our own history, not to someone elses - and we can track our history back over 1000 years .. yours is a little over 220 ...

Or Forest where you could hike for days and never see another human!

Wrong again ... try Scandinavia (crossing three countries to do it)

Or stand on the shores of Lakes and Rivers you cant see across on a good day.

Zzzzz The Bodensee, Lake Constance, Ijselmeer ...

I could Go on and on for days
and given the opportunity you will
and still not mention something.

Do you have any idea about the wildlife in Europe?
We also have wolf, bears, otter, mountain goats ...

But the difference is that I have seen the majority of these things ... you havent.

So how you can say they are not worth it, is beyond me.

Here's what her about me says,

I've been divorced for about five years after a twenty-five year marriage. I am enjoying this new phase of my life. I have adult children and twin granddaughters. I am a dog person and have a blue heeler. I live in the country although I do go to the city for the bookstores and other attractions. I love the Red Wings and still subject myself to Lions games.(FIRE MATT MILLEN!) I appreciate beer ( I am a home brewer) more than wine and couldn't do without a good steak now and then.

Most of my time is spent studying, with family, playing worlds of warcraft and wandering around outside when I can.

I'll bet she hasnt been far!

What say Lynann??

Oh, so you cant have a go at me, so you want to pick on your fellow Americans ... how typically small minded.

I notice the one thing you didnt use was the power of the US is its people.

I would not dispute that, but you obviously would rather not think of them ...

No problem ... Ill give you a head start ...

THE POWER OF THE US IS BECAUSE OF THE MAJORITY OF ITS PEOPLE

Jeez, why I debate with such a ********* is beyond me!

Im not picking on her! Why would I?
I asked her, and made an educated observation.

I haven't insulted you and didn't want to.
Why would I want a go at you?
Its against the site rules. You know that, yet I see you cant resist breaking the rules!

What do you think makes our people so Great??
The spirit of the people comes from a diverse melting pot of cultures, our beautiful land, and our pioneering history!

The population comes from economic success, the pursuit of happiness, and the highest legal immigration rate in the World!
