I want a new tattoo, to celebrate some GREAT things in my life....so here's the questions  1. How many tattoos do you have? if any? 2. What was the significance of what you got? Please, no "Tattoos are dumb" posts, I respect your right to NOT have/like them and please respect mine/others who do THANKS!! i've got 8 so far, but plan on getting a lot more before my time's up. none of them really have a specific meaning to me other than the Dropkick Murphy's/whiskey tat i've got (pic is on my profile) and ya know Marge my dear, my little bro does good work, if you'd like, i'm sure he can at least draw you something up while you and Sara are in NY next month...  Glad to see ya back

And following the divorce theme, my last one is a Phoenix in fire on the back of my neck, rememberance of no matter how bad things are or can get, you can choose to rise again. A tribal band with a weeping heart across my lower back, memory of first daughter's birth and my native american heritage And the others are all just marks of my personality that I liked them |

I have 3....getting at least one more...for my Grandaughter.
1. I have a band around my ankle with yellow and purple flowers. 2. I have an angel over my heart, my g/f gave me a Christmas ornament that I loved so much...made it into tat #2. 3. I love fairies, a friend told me of artist Amy Brown, I went on her website and was looking around under "tiles" and saw "BELIEVE" and knew right away that was tat #3. It has to "hit me" or I won't get it done. I don't ever do a tattoo on a whim. I plan where it's going and what I want it to look like when it's done. My profile has the angel and BELIEVE, one artist did both of them. I loved the way that they turned out..... |

1- a purple cross with yellow roses on my ankle for my grandma may she r.i.p 2- a sun, moon and stars on my upper back for the aniversary of something tragic in my life. 3- on my lower back I got the chinese symbol for love and my ex-fiance's name... Gotta get his name covered up now... |

I have a cross between my shoulder blades. I got it to celebrate my divorce! that was why I got my first one...i knew it was over and was relieved I agree! I got it mainly in part that that was one thing he would never let me do. So it was a way to tell him to stick it. Amen, sista!

I have 2. First one was a stupid tat that I got talked into. the second kinda covers the first. The second one is a big dragon. I have tear our claws and tail on my thighs. The dragon is on my stomach from hip to hip and belly button down.

I've got a small Celtic Trinity in purple, over a laurel leaf on my ankle. Symbolizes the spirit I've always cherished, and the laurel leaf is a symbol of royalty. Kind of a reminder to me never to settle and always go for gold ya know.
