I agree with Creative Soul...great thread, Rapunzel. I am a firm believer in adding as much of a variety of fruits and vegetables(especially RAW) to the diet as possible . Fruits and veggies are alkaline foods..and help balance out the body , especially one that has become too acidic. An overly acidic body is the reason for so many diseases of the body today . Eating raw alkaline rich foods in their RAW state is always best.....because of the enzymes ... which are also important for RESTORING optimal health . Of course, I always believe in putting God first and foremost. God gives us the wisdom to do our part..and God does the rest. Thanks for sharing this, Rapunzel. |

We need to stop thinking about a god and think about the future of human kind. Humans are naturally selfish, an history proves that that is how we've already been living all along... maybe now is a good time to "actually" put the future in God's hands. The largest and undoubtedly the greatest pharmacies in this world are systematically being destroyed every day because man can not allow nature to be the boss. Dear Di < Redy >...... now that i have had some good rest,  i can read your post more clearly...  i am not sure what you mean by pharmacies being systematically being destroyed by man .. i know that natural foods grown on the vine and as close to the garden as possible are the best.. although there aren't nearly the profits, as are in prescription drugs & prepackaged pseudofood.. so that is why they push all the stuff that has the most profits for them...  i have read some of Kevin Trudeau's books he says that the AMA & the pharmaceutical companies are in cahoots  and they only have concern & interest in their share holders, in their profits alone  and not in the wellness of the people  I believe they have the knowledge of cures for cancer & other fatal illnesses, but there is soo much money in sickness, that they do not want the truth and the cures to be known... I have also read where 'they' have silenced some of the people who have come up with these amazing cures & have actually killed people who try to help find cures for disease stricken people... i see greed and selfishness in many of the people who are in the medical field... and i have also seen genuine concern & caring for others by some health care professionals... I have long said that many doctors < not all, by any means > and some medical professionals have actually traded the " Hypocratic Oath " for a < hypocritic oath> of greed , of selfishness & the absolute searing of their consciences. I have never been a fan of pharmacies  & if i went along with everything the doctors prescribed me,  i would be very strung out on powerful oxycontin, and many other highly addictive drugs , like many of my neighbors who are forever < in la la land > because of the prescriptions some doctors want to LITERALLY push my way , after they thought i was a hypochondriac because they say I " look " good... and how can i have any problems...???  as if the way you look, is an absolute determining factor of how you feel and when they finally saw the results of an MRI with bone spurs & bulging disks and osteoarthritis & other stuff going on,  from the transfer of elderly patients and other repetitious strain injuries... they wanted to start me on a maintenance program of morphine...  20 mgs... three times a day ... so they wanted me to go from zero to 60 mg ...all in one day !!!CRAZY !!! i had a dear friend who was dying from AIDS  & they had her on a slightly higher dose of the same stuff... Without rainforests, and the amazon, we are likely loosing the best and possibly the only cures for disease. Not to mention a balance of nature that could change the terraine of this earth and effectively change the forward direction of human evolution, and at worst cause a quicker demise of the human species altogether. I agree wholeheartedly with you here , Redy... this is a matter of major concern & importance We need to stop thinking about a god and think about the future of human kind. but this is where we differ, for i could never stop thinking about God and how I would be nothing without Him... and even though I do not understand everything, I do have faith that He is just & righteous and I believe that He loves us very very much...  |

I need to go now, for my Mother just called me this morning & I just found out that my very Beloved Aunt Louise has passed away, not even two months after Uncle Russ, her dearly beloved husband of 65 years passed away They were so frail towards the end... she had a pacemaker, he had congestive heart failure He was a decorated Paratrooper In World War II and my most favorite uncle of all... they were both in & out of the hospital but they kept each other alive for so long They stuck together through thick & thin and the Lord graciously checked Russ out of the hospital that last and final time After Russ passed away His wife Louise , of course, was never the same she was so dedicated & spunky & strong willed  She tried to make light of everyday stuff.. she found humor in the littlest things...  She ironed Russ's shirts to perfection right up until the very end... i got to speak with her & even read the tribute i had written in honor of her husband & she loved it but...She lost all desire to live she fell & was bleeding on her brain and her Children...loved her so much ... and being that they had just lost their Dad they did everything they could to save their Mom , but she had gotten so little and so tiny she pulled her breathing apparatus out and did not want to eat, or do her rehabilitation she just didn't want to be here anymore... so i am very sad for all of the Family and for all of us who knew them well... & who love & miss them, here on Earth... but i am soo happy that they are together in Glory Land , SWIMMING IN THE RIVER OF LIFE , YOUNG & COMPLETELY HEALTHY ONCE MORE Forever Present with their Loved ones who passed before them , and forever present with the host of Heavenly Angels and forever Present with their HEAVENLY FATHER for all of Eternity Hallelujah |

In the beginning for over a thousand years you do not see animals being eaten. After the history of the creation in Gen 2 it says every herb bearing seed ifs good for food.. Thats why i like my brownies
Noah had no problem getting the animals to come to him as they did not eat them so thier was not fear of us. Later we are given what meats to eat clean and what was unclean. This is also showing us in the physical world of animals how a person acts who is clean or unclean. The Spirit will not live in an Unclean Temple. The strongest animals in the world are vegitarians. Polar bear, Horses ect. 7th day adventists mainly do noyt eat meat. Most that i know who have grown up in that religion is in pretty good shape. And as far as preparing. We are not to prepare to save ourselves. Quite the oppisite you are to prepare as Joseph did to beable to feed anyone or share with anyone who askes you. Be in the world not of the world. The strongest animals in the world are vegitarians. Polar bear, Horses ect. I suggest that you lay off the brownies...Polar Bears and carnivores. |

yes,
Polar Bears are opportunists, scavengers being pests, where ever they can find food... they are also very very nasty & carnivorous, but i will pass on telling the details of my findings from watching & listening to National Geographic and Animal Planet... for they are < far > from pleasant stories... |

How much unused land is there in all of the Americas and Canada - just to name a few viable options for ending world hunger, WITHOUT, offending any more of the natural world. PS - do you think man could live without meat????? Nope...we need protein to exist. BTW...all that land is sitting there waiting for some developer lobbyist to pay off a politican so they can develop it. It's sad...I live in a residential but populated area & they are still building around here. I am not only surprized but so sick of seeing dead deer on the side of the road. It's sad... Guess what? I live in a DEM stronghold... it's all about money honey. OOPS! Don't look now but there goes your BUSH bashing theory....  Don't think DEMS get it either. |

i hardly ever eat meat,
yet i derive my proteins & calcium from nutritional supplements,such as protein powders complex carbohydrates that i receive from a variety of foods... beans ,sprouts, soy products, walnuts, almonds, peanuts, sesame seeds, poppy & pumpkin seeds to name a few... & also from some dairy products... i am also very non - partisan... i would never vote for a person just cause he or she is of a certain party all of that fighting makes me sooo ill i think that the war goes much deeper than the republicans and the democrats... greed & power motivates sooo many people... a full-blown dislike, even hatred for one another that puts the endless Hatfields and McCoy feuds to total shame ... it is so ineffective and so silly, i think... we focus on such trivial insignificant things while the real problems just get worse and worse we need to quit focusing on which party is right or wrong.. whether it be the Democrats or the Republicans and where we differ... we need to find fresh new ways to agree our lives are so fragile, & fleeting... our time here on this Earth, is not for long we need to put our focus on finding solutions common denominators, threads that bind us... rather than divide us, and put everyone in separate little boxes and molds with labels & name tags... and focus on what is best for our sorry humanity before we literally obliterate ourselves |

I think we should try to extract the best from both parties but how does one stop any particular group to dominate? hmmm...??? BTW...the swipes are just a way of sassin' others for their own comments. I am more into finding answers. (A further look at some of my posts would see that.)  Sometimes I even dislike that word "solution," Hitler used it too. i think that the war goes much deeper than the republicans and the democrats... greed & power motivates sooo many people... a full-blown dislike, even hatred for one another Yes...we definately need a reality check on the hate thing... hate is a strong word...for sure. It definately inflates the "what happened"...for sure & can make something worse than it is. |

Rapunzel... so sorry to hear of the passing of your aunt, Precious....
I have lost many loved ones..one after the other... I understand loss, and am grieving your loss with you, Rapunzel . But you know she is in heaven...and rejoicing with the Lord now So that is reason also to rejoice, despite the tears. May God continue to fill you up to overflowing, in your walk with Him, Rapunzel. May God Bless You Richly. I won't be on much...take good care ,Rapunzel.... Remember...There is nothing more Wonderful than Spending that Quality Time Alone with God.
