perhaps you have read this before...
if so...it is worth reading again i was given this email sometime last week & i have found it to be truly amazing God's Pharmacy It's been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish... all before making a human. < The Book of Genesis > He made and provided what we'd need before we were born. These are best & more powerful when eaten raw. We're such slow learners... God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body! God's Pharmacy! Amazing! A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... and YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes. A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart & blood food. Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food. A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function. Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys. Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body. Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them). Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility. Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics. Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in & out of the breasts. Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body. Psalm 46:19 'Be Still & Know that I AM GOD' |

The largest and undoubtedly the greatest pharmacies in this world are systematically being destroyed every day because man can not allow nature to be the boss.
Without rainforests, and the amazon, we are likely loosing the best and possibly the only cures for disease. Not to mention a balance of nature that could change the terraine of this earth and effectively change the forward direction of human evolution, and at worst cause a quicker demise of the human species altogether. We need to stop thinking about a god and think about the future of human kind. |

We need to stop thinking about a god and think about the future of human kind. So a white woman living in American has the right to stop industry and cost thousands of third world citizens their jobs? Of course, since they won't be able to cut trees down anymore, they will have to import wood, which will cause their homes to cost more to build. And without pasture land, they will be unable to raise the animals and crops they need to grow and prosper. But so long as your conscience feels good that you did something for the "future of human kind", it's okay? |

How much unused land is there in all of the Americas and Canada - just to name a few viable options for ending world hunger, WITHOUT, offending any more of the natural world.
PS - do you think man could live without meat????? |

PS - do you think man could live without meat????? Great idea Redykeulous. How's this for an idea, we will force people to work (we'll call them slaves) on these giant farms for free, because we decided to strip the South American people of their self respect by taking their jobs and their self-suffiency from them. Of course, we will have to force various shipping companies to carry to food for free. Or we could simply charge the 3rd world people for the food, which they would be unable to afford. When they die of starvation, we can move in and turn their lands into resorts. PS Great idea, not only will we take their jobs and raise their cost of living, but we will force them to be vegatarians. |

Red,
Thinking about 'God' helps many people broaden their perspective, and to see beyond themselves. Practicing some of the virtues advocated by religious preachers and such actually helps some people become 'better people' in other ways. ------------ The issues raised here go beyond religious affiliation, race, nationality. |

Spider,
It seems to me that you speak as if advocating something is the same as trying to force others |

Spider, It seems to me that you speak as if advocating something is the same as trying to force others I'm pointing out the flaws in what she is proposing. The people in 3rd world countries are being denied the jobs that they want. Everyone is so opposed to sweatshops...except for the people who work in them. They literally cry when the shops get shut down. Appearantly working indoors for twice what their little farms make and without the dangers of wild animals or accidents with antiquated farm equipment is appealing to some people. So what else are they supposed to do for a living? All that is left is lumber and farming, because they don't have the industrial backbone we take for granted. Lumber and farming (big farms, not family farms) require lots of land, which requires the rain forests to be cleared. The situation is so much more complex than Redykeulous is presenting that it's obvious she hasn't looked at the situation from any view other than the "save the rainforest" propoganda. Want to save the rainforests? Open sweatshops in every 3rd world country with rainforests. The work is safer and pays better than just about any job available in such places. Then work to get protection for the rain forests. Those people need to eat and provide for their families and taking American and Canadian land and growing food to give away to people in 3rd world countries will never work. |

Spider,
Long time no see my friend... Red, also good to see you as well.... Spider, I beleive that what you are referring to has other factors which should be considered... In third world countries may or may not be of financial benefit to the worker, but you can rest assured that those jobs, especially when they have been outsourced(taken) from American or other workers in more civilized countries, have been taken from workers who depended on that income before the slave labor force even knew of it. While the manufacturing overhead is significantly decreased as a result of the labor cuts, the profit margin is greatly increased... The savings are not passed on to the consumer, they go into the pockets of those who already have more than most. Those in other countries used to have to come to America to have more opportunity like Americans do. Now those who are making the most money have allowed themselves to make more while simultaneously ruining the middle class... and the banking industry, and the mortgage industry, etc... The results are in front of us... It is a direct result of manufacturing in the U.S. being dead in the water... at the hands of those who already had more... Be thankful that you have a career in computer programming... Pray that they do not teach that skill to some impoverished soul in a third world country... |

The US is changing to a service based economy, rather than manufacturing. Manufacturing jobs are being exported to poor countries where jobs are a huge step up for the citizens. If the US wants to hold onto some manufacturing jobs, we should deunionize. When a high school dropout in a car company gets paid more than college graduates for an easy and non-challenging job...that's a sign of a bloated workforce and the only cure is to remove the jobs from the economy. Ever heard of India? They have lots of programmers, most of our programmers live in India. Luckily, I'm too good to let go. I thank God for that. |

One small solar flare (if it does not incinerate the earth) can knock out all the grids and electricity for a very long time. Jobs as computer programmers will be few and far between.
Two weeks without electricity will find no food on your grocery store's shelves. Twenty minutes after the lights go out, you will not be able to buy a loaf of bread. You will not be able to get your money out of the bank either. The computers are down. You can't use your cell phones. Even your cordless land line phone will not work without electricity. You might want to get one that plugs into the wall and has cords. When governments fail and laws change, jobs as lawyers are also gone. Politicians .. what can they do in dire or catastrophic situations? Nothing, they will just hide in their underground bunkers. You would be smart to learn a productive trade, like carpentry, farming, building, masonry, gardening, cooking, hunting, healing without drugs, raising your own livestock, etc. Do you have a lamp that runs on oil or will you be in the dark when the lights go out? Just a thought. Jeannie |

Just a thought. Jeannie thank you everyone for stopping by and for your comments ... When i was quite young, back in the 60's I had often thought of the need to live communally and get back to nature, and live from the land as much as possible & not be dependant on others for my every need and daily sustainence ... I still have not fully realized that dream , but I would love to pursue it with others, who are also like minded... i make some of my own clothing, and can do it without electricity... and i have made elkskin boots and candles, by hand , & many other things too... i like to think about God & the Future of mankind... |

Jeannie I'm working on a plan to buy a Sailboat, equip it with an electric motor, solar panels, wind generators, LCD lighting, a diesel generator, plenty of fishing equipment and all of the tools an equipment I would need to live on and maintain my sailboat. When my kids turn 18, we are sailing from Lake Erie to Lake Superior and taking the Mississippi to the gulf. From there, we are heading to the Carribean and never looking back. Everything I plan to have for my boat is EMP hardened or easily replacable, so a solar flare or EMP will have no effect on survivablity. I don't believe in trusting in the government to protect me and I am tried of my career, so giving it up won't be a challengee. We can work for a living doing whatever is needed, where ever we are. |

Good points Spider, but I have to ask you something...
Are you suggesting that an un-educated person is not worthy, or does not deserve to earn a wage equal to or greater than that of a college grad? If so, I completely disagree... Everyone deserves to have the opportunity to earn a comfortable living, without having to struggle for their entire life simply because they have been born into not so fortunate circumstances. Those who are fortunate enough to attend and graduate college, get to choose their career or field of study. Those who do not often do not have that same amount of choice, and usually work hard to obtain those few jobs which allow one to enjoy life. De-certifying the union authority is not an all around great idea, and it is definitely just cutting off the nose to spite the face of the workers in this great country who are not as intelligent as some others. There are also those who are more intelligent than most college grads, but were not fortunate enough to be born into a family which knew how to nurture that type of raw talent. There are always many more considerations to be had... While the points that you made are indeed something that should be taken into consideration, there are others as well... Americans can thank the unions for what was common at one time, yet now is slowly being taken back from the workers. Unions came into existence for very good reasons, and they will emerge again for the same. Americans can thank unions for establishing a 40 hour work week, time and a half for overtime pay, minimum wage, insurance, cost of living wage increases, retirement accounts, etc... Since Reagan's years, when the air traffic controllers' union contract was not upheld in court even though it was a binding contractual obligation, the unions and the workers have slowly but surely lost all that had been fought for... Those who have more tend to try to keep it to themselves, as if they do not have enough. I believe that history will repeat itself when the companies are finished turning the workforce labor in this country back to a slave environment, like it was during the birth of the unions... There have already been talks about overtime pay being eliminated, and many other similar things. It is now a complete rarity for an employer to have 100% employee coverage... Unless your a government employee... We as workers should not have the responsibility of paying for every government employees health-care coverage, which is outstanding, while we are forced to take some under-covered program for ourselves and our families at the same time... There is so much to it than the Republican or Democratic spin that is used to blind the U.S. citizen to the fact that our rights have been taken one at a time by a corrupt government who is and always has been in financial bed with large corporations... as well as those who have. Ok... this thread is way off topic... My apologies Rapunzel... Peace and love to all of you... |

Are you suggesting that an un-educated person is not worthy, or does not deserve to earn a wage equal to or greater than that of a college grad? I'm saying that a job which requires no special skills, doesn't pose an undue danger to life and limb, isn't highly undesirable work and doesn't require an education shouldn't pay more than jobs that do fit those criteria. Bricklaying is a special skill, so someone without an education but having that skill should be paid more. Someone whose job is pulling a lever and putting a couple rivets into a peice of metal...not so much. http://mjperry.blogspot.com/2007/07/uaw-pricing-themselves-out-of-market.html Ford: $70.51 ($141,020 per year) GM: $73.26 ($146,520 per year) Chrysler: $75.86 ($151,720 per year) Toyota, Honda, Nissan (in U.S.): $48.00 ($96,000 per year) According to AAUP and IES, the average annual compensation for a college professor in 2006 was $92,973 (average salary nationally of $73,207 + 27% benefits). Bottom Line: The average UAW worker with a high school degree earns 57.6% more compensation than the average university professor with a Ph.D. (see graph above, click to enlarge), and 52.6% more than the average worker at Toyota, Honda or Nissan. That's mind boggling to me. |

Granted there have been major worker ethic issues involving union employees and such, however, that does not make unions a bad thing.
While I personally know many workers for G.E. and G.M., I believe that those posted stats concerning the average wages are completely over-inflated. While it would also be mind boggling to me as well, the difference is not that great. Those auto workers who I know personally average between 25 and 40 dollars an hour... in the mid-west. The UAW is also in a few Japanese companies here in the states... much to their(the company's) dismay... The notion of a "fair wage" is purely speculative and subjective to a personal sense of ought... Peace... and good night... |

Hi there SharonM45458 thanks for stopping by thank you for your sweet message & perceptions and yes, i agree with you, some things are meant to be taken at face value i was thinking of the truly miraculous fruits and the life giving healing vegetables specifically designed for certain functions that our Creator so generously has provided us with ~ when i posted this thread... however, it is truly amazing what a colorful array of thought processes this little message inspired & spawned |
