I have 3 dream dictionaries. I also think you can find them online. Sometimes when you read about what the symbolism is for things, it helps them go away.

Also, writing your dreams down, in detail, helps. Especially if they are the same dreams over and over.

Look up how to do lucid dreaming. It's a way to make a conscious effort to change your subconscious dreaming in order to perfect a better outcome. I've had to do it with recurring nightmares and it worked.

Also, just because death is involved, it doesn't have to be a negative thing. Some interpreters believe that dreaming of one's own death means that one will be successful in one's endeavors.

It could also be that you keep dreaming the same thing over and over as it is an outstanding issue that needs attention and to be rectified.

Dreams are such a crap shoot in general and there is no one perfect interpretation or interpreter.

I think you are feeling like a victim in some sort of way. Try thinking happy thoughts before falling asleep, this may help.

Try this for starters.

I wish I knew how to stop them. Just had a terrible dream this morning that a friend of mine died. It was beyond weird, as my dreams are, but it shook me up enough I had to text him this morning.

Weed will keep you from dreaming. Basically I have heard that depressed people usually dream. Stressed in some sense, regardless if your dream was pleasant or not. Diet also effects dreams. Eating past certain hours and such.

Ask people who you know that are chipper all the time and always on the up and up. They tend to dream less.

I hardly smoke it, but when I get depressed, since the docs don't want to give me what works. I use it only at night 2 maybe 3 hours before bed for about a month. Helps me just fine. happy

For the record, this occurs maybe once every 6 months to a year or so, if not longer.
