Got the water running, again. Yay Talked to Miller Hardware person about what another said last year when I had to fix my plumbing then. It was about the one inch foam insulation that goes over the pvc. Last one said that it wouldn't do any good. This one said lots of customers do it anyway even if it isn't over steel pipe. I figure it is like the lucky rabbit's foot. It might be lucky for you even though it really wasn't very lucky for the rabbit. I am back to being Alice, again.

Hello Roy. How are you??

I am doing pretty good now. Really glad to be back on third shift. Easier to find a parking space; Less bosses to deal with; Got a half dollar raise by the hour pay rate; Lot less work since most of the residents are asleep. The transition help me to sleep better since I sleep better during the day. Certainly a whole less drama to deal with. I can make my meetings now and I was sure needing them. Got to keep my Fridays and Saturdays off. DON was asking me how would it affect my New Year's Day to work it. I mean they were going to give me the requested day off but then have me work Saturday any ways so it wasn't like I was going to have a three day weekend no matter what. I just about couldn't keep from laughing. So I am working New Year's Day just I worked all of the other holidays. I mean if we were getting holiday pay it might be different. I feel like I am on some lost episode of Gilligan's Island. I am learning how to adjust to the insanity. It has taken some time but I am getting there. How you doing, Greer?

Been doing OK. Mom was away this weekend, and I had a b'day party.(see pics on my profile). It was a fun time. Good food, good friends, and good music.

Oh, you look like you had fun. I am so happy for you. Happy belated birthday. My mom has decided to let me stay renting from her. I was so glad. I really love right where I am. Oh, play me some mountain music like grandma and grandpa used to play. And we will move down the river in our Cajun hideaway. I think Alabama sings that.

It does seem like good news, Babs. Last night my friend Stuart says that he might be able to come to third shift, too. Maybe I can finally get my van fixed. It would settle his vehicle problem since he and his bride to be use the same vehicle. She works at the Subway just a few blocks away and there work schedules are different.

Yup. Doing okay. Went to a meeting last night. I only had to work for 8 hours last night. Only aide who showed up on my wing. 8 hours seem short when you get used to doing 12 and 16s.

Slept like a baby. Hope you are getting your rest, too and liking your new place. April, the married waitress that has two big boys I talked to this morning at the Hilltop restaurant. She has come back to working a couple days at the nursing home. I asked her if one of her boys did any mechanizing since Stewart said his brother-in-law can't seem to get away from World of War craft on the computer. She has a piece of property just past me on the road. She says one of her boys think he can and took down my number. Mom says she has been going to our church.
