“Life Hanging On A Thread”


A life is so precious.
One moment all is fine.
Life seems to be going good.
Next moment they are on a life line.

Not sure if their body will make it.
As we think back over the past.
And think this is way too soon.
This life could end to fast.

Working on cars was his life.
He is just a boy of twenty-seven.
He works hard making a living.
Now he is floating between life and heaven.

He has made plans for the future.
His first baby is on the way.
At six foot four he’s a big teddy bear.
We sit and wonder will he make it through the day.

Doing what he loved so much.
Something went wrong the engine blew.
Up in his face and he was left to fight.
Oh God will he make it through.

His life is hanging on a thread.
Life just seems so unfair.
Burns and cuts all over his upper body.
His family is left in despair.

As they take in all the details.
Of what all happened today.
They are told to prepare to say their final good-byes.
All we can do now is sit and pray.

As we think of this life hanging on a thread.
A parents worst fears.
Is to loose a child so soon in life.
There have been many shed tears.

The next fort-eight hours are critical.
Will he make it through this day?
For now he is floating between life and heaven.
At times we forget how precious life is each day.

This is about my son's best friend they grew up together. Right now all we know is he is on Life Support. He was working on a car Thursday 7/3 the engine blew up in his face catching him on fire. He had went into business with his Dad as a mechanic after graduating High School. The damages are so extensive that no one is allowed in at this time.

Thank you all for reading and the prayers for the family I have watched Cifton grow up from a boy into a young man. Always has a smile for everyone and a kind word. I can't image what he is going through or his family right now.

SKPCG I will indeed his girlfriend told my son he would be the first she would call. For as of now no one is allowed in to even see him not even his own family hopefully things will take a change for the better.

If I find out anything new I will post it here.

Beau talked to Clifton's girlfriend this morning did not go into any deep details. He said he did not want to ask a lot of questions right now for he knows they are doing all they can.

And don't want to upset his girlfriend too much due to she is 7 months pregnant.

But good news as well he is being responsive at this time even though it is not much for now it seems he could be on the right road.

He is a very strong boy, athletic and not one to give up.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your well wishes and prayers.

They are being answered.
