Yep perfectly safe.. No one locks their doors, my car keys are in the ignition at all times.. If I take them out I lose them ..cars doors are never locked.. My kids walk to night swim every night and home if they choose to do so..

There is no crime here.. literally.. Nothing..

Great fabulous place to raise kids.. Im safe and I know they are.. Out here its kinda like "it takes a village to raise a kid" .. My kids are always looked after no matter where they are or what theyre doing

Its like living in freakin MAYBERRY

I stayed there quite awhile when I was younger, that and East L.A. San Bernardino was probably the roughest I had been through as a whole, with the number of dealers on the corner and homeless staying under bridges.

Nothing happens in this village, two years ago the village idiot left, we placed an ad in the local paper.........still no reply, our nightly entertainment is gathering around the notice on the village green notice board to see if we've had any replies to the ad

I was "literally" born in East LA (and know about San Bernadino)

Lived in the midwest (hence the .."farmer")...know all about the pies and seamstresses

Now it seems there's a job opening for me in Jolly ole England

Give me a moment, going to gather the bell ringers to signal the other villagers for an emergency meet...........H'ray, vacancy filled

I live in the suburbs of a large city....I feel safe at night here & often take sunset walks or jogs....but if i was a female, i wouldn't be walking alone at night, better to be safe than sorry later....

My neighborhood is so safe it's ridiculous. The worst thing that could happen is for one of the 80-year-olds to invite you in to talk for hours...

Seriously, though, I would walk alone at night any time.

When I bought my Louisiana home years and years ago, it was a nice neighborhood. Not so after I've returned here to live a while. Crackheads and crooks living on assisted housing where they could not afford to before. But I feel safe.

Your perception of safety is all in your head. Nobody is SAFE no matter where you are. From Jogging trails in Washington State to the East side of L.A., people get murdered every day that did nothing but be in the wrong place at the wrong time. In nice, secure suburban homes and in the hood. You only feel safe if you feel confident and prepared. When it hits the fan, they're in your room and you wake up..or in your car in a flash. I feel very safe but I could be dead tomorrow.

I've been shot in my home by a criminal (crackhead burglar) but he's dead, I'm not.

Actually I love most of my neighbors..even the new ones and they look out for me. I think they also bandy about the fact among themselves that I'll kill a MF in a heartbeat if my family or myself is at risk. Crooks usually don't like even a 50-50 chance of getting thier heads blown off.

Only your confidence and skills in protecting your person and property will make you FEEL safe. Only being acutely alert and prepared will make you BE relatively safe.

And, while I'm ranting, when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. If I didn't own one and know how to use it close quarters, where the **** REALLY happens in a second or two, I'd be dead now for sure.

Yes, pretty rural around here.
BUT you got's to pay attention to what is going on around you
Not afraid, just be aware.
