“Life’s Roller Coaster”

Life is like a roller coaster.
At times you will enjoy the ride.
Feeling like you’re on top of the world.
Putting everything else aside.

Not thinking about tomorrow.
For now you’re up on a cloud.
You’re enjoying every moment.
As you sit back and watch the crowd.

Not thinking of before.
Not letting in the past.
For all that is on your mind.
Is what is here at last.

No longer will you worry.
For yesterday is gone.
No longer will you give it a thought.
For today will bring a new dawn.

You know that at times.
Life may bring you down.
But regardless what it does.
You will never keep a frown.

Life may be like a roller coaster.
Yesterday maybe gone.
But you will never forget.
Tomorrow will always bring a new dawn.
