On the other hand, when a man asks a woman to marry him, he is making the decision to forfeit these instincts and choosing to have sex with one woman forever. Once he has chosen that path for himself, I don't feel that he deserves a medal each time he does not screw another woman. That is putting it harshly and was meant to be funny...sorry.

He doesn't deserve a metal, but he does deserve a caring and loyal spouse in return. Just trying to shed some light on why men have trouble committing as well as why they are more likely to cheat when drunk.

Again not that it is an excuse, but it is definitely different than a sober, conscious choice.

ok i see where he is coming from and come on ....women do it too.... i know my husband looks at other women and thinks"at an earlier time in my life" but i too have looked at other men and thought "Damn!!!" its part of being alive...it is what you do with it then...and if your cheating looks have nothing to do with it, my dad used to cheat with some of the nastiest women around...it was that it was available...and a self esteem issue

I was once told by a cheating man, that some men subconsciously choose nasty women they cannot respect to cheat with, to insure they will not imagine they are falling for her.

I asked him if this was somehow supposed to make my friend (the one he cheated on) feel better. noway

My ex husband called all his "skeezers" pieces of trash. Of course, usually he said it because one of them had dumb him and he was wanting me back. LOSER!!!

I think she had fallen plenty far enough before mentioning the kids. I spose if he was not wearing a ring, then she might not have known, but the attitude after he said he was married is pretty low in my book. frown

Hey, women who have never been married and cheated on by their spouse are awful about wanting married men. It is like 'DER, woman, if he cheats on his wife, then whatcha think he will do to you?'

I have had married men hit on me and I am sorry, but that is a BIG no no in my book.

I had a friend who for some reason turned into a real slut...it was sad to watch, but I had to lose her. I was not the least bit worried about my b/f at the time taking her up on her flirtations...I just didn't feel he deserved to have to put up with it and I had lost respect for her to the point of no return. frown

I have never been married, but know how I feel about marriage. That is enough to keep me from ever being remotely attracted to any man who is in a relationship...hell, even dating others and not committed is not attractive to me. noway

Even if the guy were spectacular, how could the situation not send you running? How could you have an ounce of respect for him? I just don't get it! ohwell

Oh we women can be so naive.

And, damn, I will never be able to date a man who has the same name as my ex husband. Just the thought makes me almost vomit in my mouth....sick ill
