The thing is, the men didn't want to hurt your feelings so they lied. Its not our fault we are hard wired this way. Its one of the reasons its hard for many men to commit. You did not outright say that no. But it seems you are trying to justify that men are made to be with multiple partners(thus can not be faithful). If I am reading wrong, I do apologize. I do not fight, so you can win.

I do not fight, so you can win. One of the other people said they didn't realize that men "thought" about having sex with other women. I was shocked by that and talked about the male instincts. I also said that as humans we have rational thought and can overcome the weakness. I also stated that women under appreciate men who are loyal because they don't realize they are at a constant struggle with this instinct. I never gave it as an excuse to cheat. |

Chazster, I do understand where you're going with this...and can't altogether disagree with your thinking and admission on the subject. I guess we are programed to believe our men when they say they only think of us...especially if they've proven otherwise honest. I guess my naivety earlier is due to the fac that with my past boyfriends I never so much as saw them look at other women. I suppose some are better at hiding it than others...but the thought is not very appealing.

On the other hand, when a man asks a woman to marry him, he is making the decision to forfeit these instincts and choosing to have sex with one woman forever. Once he has chosen that path for himself, I don't feel that he deserves a medal each time he does not screw another woman. That is putting it harshly and was meant to be funny...sorry.
