hey i make no bones about it. I want to be married again. I like being married, I like being a couple, and I like the thought of waking up to the same person every single day for the rest of my life. Dating is just a way to find that right person for me. I am NOT a player, that's for sure =)

One has to date before it may become a relationship, IMO.
You may have to date quite a few people before you find the one to have a relationship with too. |

I think that most people are interested in a relationship, but only on their explicit terms. Uncompromising, my way or the highway type relationships, each for their own personal reasons based on their experiences.

Uncompromising, my way or the highway type relationships, each for their own personal reasons based on their experiences. Well, that may be why so many of us are still single then. I try to think that I meet the other person halfway. Problem is that it is really hard to find someone in my neck of the woods that can deal with someone that works all the time or has his kids. Lets see...you want tuesday night or friday night sweetheart? |

If a relationship is going to come of something, I think most of the time they will choose to accept it no matter what their original thoughts or purposes set out to be.
Look at me...I was convinced that even dating was not in the cards for me at the time I signed up here, but was told about the forums and the friends setting and thought that sounded nice. But now, I'm in dreamy land over someone who I've become quite serious about. Who'd have thunk it? |

There are people on here who show they want a relationship, but after communicating with them, they really just wanted intimate encounters. There are a lot of misnomered "interests" on here.

Just out of curiosity...do meaningful overnight relationships count as dating or relationships?

My moral ethic's are keeping me from enjoying dating different guy's. I just can't do it!
