When faced with a decision, what do you do?
Make an immediate choice, based on your gut feeling? Weigh your options and choose which seems more reasonable/practical? And...how do you feel about your decisions after you've made them? |

I usually make my choices pretty quick. Sometimes it works.....sometimes it doesn't.

ask yourself is whatever consequences are worth living with, and then make your choice.

dI weigh the options, and try to figure out which one is least likely to be affected by Murph's law if I take it

I try to take my time and think things out. I usually get better results. I try to be careful when I have to rely on a gut reaction. what happens after the decision is made can be a little unpredictable.

It depends on how much actual time I have to make the choice, some choices need to be made at a moments notice, others You may have sometime to think it over, 9x out of 10 I go with gut feeling either way...

My Grandpa always told me this,
If you follow your heart, you will get hurt. If you go with your gut, it will never do you wrong. So far I have found that to be VERY true in my life. Just my two cents. |

Earlier today my friend sent me the following article. I think it's relevant to this topic, but that's just my gut feeling.

I do both depending on the circumstances, time, and available information. I'm usually right about half the time, maybe more! Sometimes it just takes a long time to know I'm right, so it feels like a wrong.

It's so true - I think the times we make BAD decisions is when we second-guess ourselves. |

I research the devil out of a thing and then think the outcome and possible repercussions through for about 20 different possible scenarios before finally choosing...

I didn't want to tempt the gods of fate by not sharing it. *edit* Anyway, it is definitely a fascinating read. Highly recommended! |

Weigh your options and choose which seems more reasonable/practical?

(((EL)))...Bumble and Bumble makes a great shampoo!
I tend to fly by the seat of my pants and go with my gut. I'm usually quite satisfied with my choices. Once in a great while, I'll find myself wondering "what if"...but then, I realize, I'd be asking myself "what if" if I HADN't gone with my gut. Add to Charles' edit - it IS a great read! Go read it!!! |
