From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.' From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.' From Dreams of My Father: 'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.' From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.' From Dreams of My Father: 'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Du Bo is and Mandela.' And FINALLY the Most Damming one of ALL of them!!! From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.' maybe this is an eye opener...these are quotes from his two books |

Like I said, The Republicans sure are desperate! No, republicans are just right. Actually CONSERVATIVES are just right. What's with the past 7 years of desperation from the left? Even now that they have control of the house (lots of good coming from that )they still attack their own country as if it were evil. NObama will raise your taxes. Spend the $ on things you don't approve of and don't need. Health care in this country will be ruined. Our country's security will be in greater danger than it ever has been as NObama speaks freely and without condition to those who would rather see us all dead. I do not agree with 1 single position of his on any issue. Worse yet there are many pressing issues that neither I nor anyone else have any idea where NObama positions himself. His wife for being such a well educated woman is a bit of a dolt. I'd have the "keep her gagged" order in place if I were running for office. Libs on this board are going to be in for a rude awakening when they wake up 2 years from now and NObama has us paying $10 a gallon because he doesn't like nuclear power or support drilling our own oil. That's if you haven't been killed by one of his extreme Islamic fanatic buddies. He'll make these friends (if he hasn't already) while visiting Iran and Seria to chat about foreign policy. They will snow him into a false sense of security and the lib koolaid drinkers will fall in line. Then the attack/attacks. Which candidate do you think the terrorists are pulling for? I'd bet his middle name sounds like Husein. |

Obama and his decisions:
Rev Wright, Holy Trinity Church - Obama should have had enough common sense to just go to another church the very next Sunday........ Small town gun toting Pennsylvanians - think before you speak. Obama lost in Pennsylvania before anyone ever voted........ The guy he selected to head up his VP search had to resign immediately......speaks for itself as how he would make choices about White House positions.... Public campaign financing or private campaign financing flip flop...... call them rookie mistakes due to his inexperience - electing Obama would be like putting a fifth grader in a trignometry class and expecting him to solve all our nation's problems - I don't think so............................................... |

LOL. I'm an antipartitionist (someone who believes that party guided politics are a massive failure for our nation, and that the issues are what is important) and I have to say that the only thing desperate in politics (including members of both parties) is the need for people to wake up and think for themselves. I don't think the republican party is desperate (at least they haven't been on the mudslinging offensive as much as the democrats have been...)
Personally, I'm sickened by how much BS the people in this country are willing to believe and accept from our media and politicians without even looking into it for themselves! Of the two (Obama and Mccain) I'd rather see Mccain for president, yet even so I would feel that the people of the U.S.A. are getting jipped in general. We have a horrible selection of candidates for president, and a similarly poor field of choices in our congress and senate. |
