Why do they need to do that if they are following the Geneva Convention and other international laws ?

that kind of thing is used by a bunch of countries , not the just the usa . the usa is just better trained . if you dont like it just go to iran or north korea . try doing this on a computer talking about them this way ! you will be dead in less than 24 hours most likely

The US Army also trained to lob tactical Nukes at the Russians from 105 mm Howitzers! To blow a hole in their lines, and then pour thousands of troops right through the middle of ground Zero!

The US has never been "the good guys".
But then neither have the Japanese, the Brits, the Romans, the Greeks, the Mongols nor the Egyptians.

Why?

Because every epoch or time era has its leaders of commerce, war and industry.

When the Brits had "The Empire" we were hated by every one. We ruled with a rod of iron and brutalised millions of people.

The Roman's were the same. To maintain control of its empire, it had to invade and slaughter thousands of people.

So, at the moment, the US has joined an elite group of world rulers that dominate.

But whereas the Brits had commerce, industry and the ability to wage war, the US only has the ability to wage war effectively. Your economy is shot to hell, and you are a very large country to keep control of.

To do this it needs oil. to get it, it has to do what the previously mentioned groups have always done, they ask, then take.

So, with the advent of 24 hour news, the US is being shown up for what it is. A bully (like all the rest) but it is in our time and we get to see it.

You will never be invaded, but every war you wage will not be a winning one, because your natural resources are dwindling and you need to seal oil to keep it going.

This is not meant to be a US-bashing post, as this is what I see this epoch to be. The US has the biggest sticks so it has the biggest voice.

But it will not last forever. The British Empire lasted 150-200 years, the Roman empire the same. The Chinese dynasties lasted a little longer, but that was a different method of warmongering.

Only when you stop your leaders wasting your resources, will the perceived enemies of your country stop trying to kill your people.

the u s a is nottrying to dominate anybody . the ones you mentioned were . iraq needed a change for the people . if you could go to syria , most likey you will find iraq weapons of mass destructions and others . their lovable leader insane need to go anyway . belushi as i recall britain has pretty much been a staunch ally of the u s . if the u s a wanted to dominate , there would be americans in and running iraq . they have their own government. it is doing better as time goes on.

I agree...as long as they don't use these tactics on Americans I have no problem with them doing what they can to keep us safe. I'll let yu know if they ever come for me...

There are many corrupt govts. around the world. We can't close our eyes to that. I am amazed at Americans lack of understanding regarding national security & keeping us safe.

The United States is just as guilty as the rest of the world...open up your eyes..Americans torture, over throw governments, invade countries and have the biggest stockpile of weapons of mass destruction than the rest of the world.
