You look like I would expect 41 to look given how I look and the fact that I'm 38 on Tuesday. Did that make sense? I look 41 
Actually, there was only one post when I typed it, and it was re the person I quoted. Unless the quote feature didn't work for me again. But that's okay, because you do look closer to 40 than to 50.

You are right. People seem to loose it when they get close to 40. I have been very surprised before to hear some peoples age.
They look WAY older than they relly are. Bad habits and no fitness I quess. |

I have found that too; and, I had to get over it. It wasn't easy. When I was in my late 20s and 30s, most of my peers were looking about 10-15 years older than their age.
My parents passed on good genes and they looked MUCH younger than their chronological age till they hit their 60s. |

I am 49, 50 in Oct.
The ex is 55. Had a date in Feb with a woman, it was her birthday, 34, she has backed off when I told my age. She thought I was late 30's early 40's. Now Fade is 57, which sounds, old. But I spent an evening with a co-worker who is 56, and I thought, well she's not bad looking at all. So whats the point? Finding out its probably the person, not the numbers attached thats important. |

I've had a few issues when meeting people in their 40's. I can't get over the fact that so many look nearly my father's age. It didn't dawn on me until today that the issue is probably not that they look older. The problem is that my father looks younger than his age. I get that from him. So this mental issue I'm having with people not that must older than me is something I'm really gonna have to try and get over. Its why I don't date older .. no thanks |

I'm 48 and I'm always told I look younger. The last person that I dated was 42. When he found out my age, he didn't believe that I was older than him. Giggle giggle.
