Another date another disaster, i went on a date with someone from here last night, and i was terrified by her mom, she just the way she acted scared the daylights out of me... maybe i should just accept that i am to ba alone for the rest of my life and take myself out of that dating pool.... i am so depressed today i just wanna cry

well it was ok,
to clarify what i mean, i met this girl for the first time, and given the circumstances of her life her mom is very protective of her, so when we were meeting for the first time she insisted that we all go out together, i mean i got a free dinner out of it, but she was just very..... well outspoken is another good word, i jsut felt very uncomfortable, i mean i adore this girl, but her mother freaks me out and not in a good way etrain |

If it makes you feel any better, I used to overtly threaten my older daughter's suitors and was notorious for chasing them out with brooms and worse. It's the mama instinct, and untimately, no one got hurt. Much.
