If you're going to continually put yourself down, ie: loser, miserable little life... how can you expect other's not to do the same! Life and Happiness is what YOU make of it, not anybody else.. c'mon change things around.. life can be grande if you want it to be!

see thats just it all i wanted was a little advice, wasn;t going for the sympathy, cause thats not what i want, i just wanted some help.... forgive the rudeness and the bitterness, it is unintentional towards anyone, i am not that way....just really upset right now

yes i like the girl, we have been talking for over 3 months, and i thought last night was the start of something wonderful, i guess like i said it was just a first date and i shouldn't let that influence my judgement

3 months of talking doesn't equal up to meeting them in person and seeing how they really are. It's a very good start tho. Maybe you got your hopes a little to high... it happens to the best of us

Exactly....he's talking about having bad dates...at least he has gotton dates. I just think you took it a little too seriously. Basically this was a first date / meet and greet not the seduction scene from Mata Hari. Relax. So her Mom came with and you weren't crazy about her mom, so what? It isn't her mom you are trying to build a relationship with. As for her Mom comming along and then picking up the check, I think she is wise for being cautious on a first meet. Personally I think if I were worried I would have arranged a friend's along date, gone bowling or some other group activity not brought my mother but hey to each thier own. This is the internet and there are a lot of not so nice people here (not discounting the great ones ) and more people should learn a little caution if they did there wouldn't be so many horror stories...
