I think my family dog which is the second one we have. I think she is about to die, she isn't eating and her nose feels wet which means she should be feeling okay from what I understand.

But she is acting like her mom did when her mom was about to die on us, I mean we kept one of the puppys the mom had. However I think this one has cancel too I am not to sure though because she has bumps on her but we don't have that kind of cash to get her the help or pay for the vet bills etc, I mean they charge a lot and all.

So I don't know.

I feel bad about this because it's near the same month we put her mom down to rest.

My beloved dog Simba had cancer too and I lost her in Sept. The bumps could just be old age tumors but it is best to get them checked out, simba lived 2 years after being diagnosed with the meds she took, it is expensive but worth it!!!

take her to the humane society.....and explain your financial situation, if they can help they will at a reduced rate.........dont let the dog suffer because of you!!!!

THIS IS WHY PEOPLE SHOULD NOT HAVE PETS THEY CANT AFFORD TO TAKE CARE OF!!!!

I think this last comment was totally uncalled for. Johncena obviously took very good care of his dog and loves her very much. There's a big difference between good daily care and humongous veterinary bills.

honestly would you be reacting the same way, if this were a child he was talking about ??
get the dog help....now!!!! making it suffer is not being loveable or caring to it!!!
and yes there are free clinics for pets!!!

why do you think bob barker started his campaign...there are too many people that are not responsible with their pets, and cant or wont care for them properly.......to those people I may offend I am sorry!!!
i sure hope you use birth control.

Okay first off you may not know me and that's fine I wouldn't think you would know what my or my family financial situation is right now.

Secondly I had my mom got the first dog and the dog had puppys and we give all but one away, we have taken very good care of them.

Lastesly I can't tell every body about my financial situation because it's none of yours or any body else business.

But if you ended up how my family has then you might have a better understanding of this whole situation, which no body ask for in the first place.

Surely if I had the extra money I would give it my all no matter if this was a pet or a person to save it.

However financialy some things can not be taken care of, like most people think.

I never asked to be in this tough spot and I don't think you would or any body else would say this same damn thing if it happened to you as well.

Bottom line no body ask to be put into any situations, somethings just right out happen, maybe for one reason or another.

Yeah, and this is what I am trying to get at too, there's a big differences between those two things of good daily care and cant afford something for one thing or another.

I am sorry you feel this way, but I do not drink at all, or do drugs.

So that is not the case here.

dont worry about what everyone says about your financial duty..its not a child, its a pet,(yes, Ive had dogs, many of them...) as much as you love it, there are other considerations that need to be taken into account...make your pet as comfortable as you are able to. Its hard to see a devoted companion suffer. Good luck..

Call your regular vet, if you have one, or call the humane society and ask for a referral. Explain your situation and ask them what the price of an office call would be. At least you can go and have the situation evaluated. My vet charges $20 for an office call. A good vet will go thru your options and the cost and not be judgemental. A good vet will also let you know if euthanizing the dog may be advised. May be all you need is $20 worth of antibiotics. You won't know until you talk to a professional. I understand your money situation and I know you want to do wants right. There is middle ground. flowerforyou

John , I understand what you are going through . My family and I just yesterday had to have my dog euthanized . I have always taken excellent care of her and it just happens that she became very ill while my family and I are going through a rough patch financially . I called every animal hospital and vet within a 100 hundred mile radius and none were willing to make a payment plan . I had only $25 in my pocket until Friday when my Step Father gets paid . I could not stand to watch my sweet angel suffer until Friday so I called my local animal shelter . They offered to euthanize her for free and end her suffering .
The vet there was very kind and explained everything to me and I was able to be with my Dog until she went to sleep .
Good luck to you and I hope everything works out for you and your Dog .
