what would you see as being an 'acceptable' age gap between 2 people???

as long as she is over 18 it shouldn't matter. my ex was 11 years older... my dad was twice the age of my mom.

it kinda bothers me in some ways, but i know that it really shouldnt make any difference at all, but i dunno, i guess i just remember what i was like at her age... does that make any sense?? nah, prob not! if i'm enjoying myself and smiling, then im happy :) |

I'll be 38 this year. My personal limits run about ten years on either side. Using these limits, I've gone all the way to the lower end of my limit...and been disappointed really, because that "kid" and I really had nothing in common. Just because she was attracted to me does not mean we shared the same "background" that fed our beliefs and opinions...and made them mesh.

Only have really dated older up to about 15 years, as for the going younger....something I have tried yet

Age is a number, get past it. When your at your age i can see that. I can't see myself knowing i'm going to be 38 in August being with an 18 your old little girl that is still growing up and learng about life. And i'm not into traning. Yeah maybe some can see themselves doing that at my age. But i can't see being with somone that young and trying to have a family when they still have the childish personality. I wont go more then ten years younger then me and 5 older. |
