Age is a number, get past it. When your at your age i can see that. I can't see myself knowing i'm going to be 38 in August being with an 18 your old little girl that is still growing up and learng about life. And i'm not into traning. Yeah maybe some can see themselves doing that at my age. But i can't see being with somone that young and trying to have a family when they still have the childish personality. I wont go more then ten years younger then me and 5 older. Not into training? DAM!

what would you see as being an 'acceptable' age gap between 2 people??? lets say, for example, a 35 year old guy... what would you consider to be the youngest and/or oldest limits for him to date?? erm, im askin' on behalf of a friend... |

My Dad's second wife was 12 years younge than him (she was 18 when they married), Uncle Ed's wife (Pat) was 23 years younger than him (married over 45 years). Now the reason I bring this up is because the physical age (chronological) has nothing to do with their mental make up or capacities.
I was kind of sweet on this one little spitfire a few months back, and she was 18 years younger than me. I decided I just couldn't date her because she was "too young." Not in age, but experience. If she's still available in two or three years, I might ask her out (assuming I am still available and none of the women on her snatch me up... hint hint) When I was 22 I dated a woman who was 38 for a couple of months, I still don't know how she put up with me, I knew even less then than I do now, and I can tell you, I don't know jack. But she thought I was a good person, but once again, needed more life experience. The truth is, everyone ages differently, and whether someone can handle the chronological difference depends on the difference in the mental aspect. Me, I don't care if I hear another "when I was in high school..." story ever again. |
