Employee of the month is just their way of telling you theyre too damn cheap to give you any money. And by the way, to all you poor saps who think an award is good, just try working any less like a hero the next month and they will give you serious attitude.

That is likely true...I would not stop giving incentives and bonuses just cause I put a pic up on the wall...that should just be for fun and prestige. Anyone who used that as the only means to value a job well done...cheap bass turds!

Yes, I've gotten it several times....but now they have changed how they vote on it..the employees used to vote, now it's the bosses who do the nominating and choosing...I prefer the employees to vote myself....

In management as well as we don't qualify, and our employees nominate and we do popular vote, although if there is a tie we determine who has earned it most

I got a Sponge Bob sticker that said Employee of the Month from my boss at the pharmacy where I worked when I was a teenager . I was really proud it's still in my wallet .
