Ok girls, I can not figure this out...
I constantly hear "guys are jerks, guys are only after one thing, etc etc etc...."
has it ever occured to you that you may be looking in the wrong place? Im not sure if its where im from (Buffalo aka western ny state) or what, but it seems as if girls only have interest in the typical guy....tall, perfect hair, plucked eyebrows, white popped collar shirt, blue jeans with trendy holes, and flip flops. Yea, if a guy is trying that hard to impress someone, he is probably cheating on someone else. Maybe you should look for that guy with the normal t-shirt and shorts, a beer, and who may look less than perfect. This person isnt out to impress...he's out to try to have fun and be natural. Of course, I am describing myself. I may not spend an hour in front of the mirror trying to "douche bag" it up, but I am a decent honest kid. I wanna have fun, and I'm responsible, I even say "may I" and "please" when applicable.
Like anyone else, I like to go out, party, and have fun. I also try to be a decent person. I may fail at a lot of things, but I put effort into what I do. I have good manners, and am very respectful of others. So because I don't dress properly and gyrate to rap like i have jello in my veins as does every other mindless individual, you write me off as unacceptable?

you are in the middle of the game playing years from 25-40, and those are the hardest to over-come. everybody's looking for the better rainbow, and over analizing each other. it's not that they are doing wrong, it's that the players know how to lead, and appear more interesting,.....and pushy. by the time they get to you, they've lost patience and while they've givin the player a thousand chances, they will give you about...mmmm two....then you're history. so maybe someone who's sick of the games, like past 40...you should think about it, unless the girl's in the same boat, then it just might work, if you both can dispence with all the crap, and get some communication going.

Does it seem to anyone else that even though women SAY they're equal to guys...that they still want a guy who approaches THEM instead of the other way around?

Yeah...that's why I'm so single. I generally wait for the woman to come to me and express interest in me, first. I find it very hard to make a "deep" personal connection with someone else, keep my guard up.

It's the ones that come over to me that I talk with and get to know.

I like mine rugged. Oddly drawn to the biker type, bigger, bald, bearded (well goatee'd). Or dark hair, jeans and Tshirt...with a goatee, piercings, tats. Never been much for blondes, polos, button downs or anything 90210.

Humm this is what I have always looked for as long as they have a sense of humor, can hold a conversation and don't have a problem holding my attention.

I want one that has a mind of his own and knows how to use it. Respectful, Honest, caring and knows how to show they care about you. Not talking material wise either actions speak louder then words.

Ohhh and above all faithful!!

None of the guys I know in SF are like that.
