“Looking Around” I sat and watch each day. As love comes and goes their way. Some seem to live in the past. Thinking this one is the last. Others keep looking ahead. While some sit back and dread. No longer do they want to look. Wondering is there a book? On how to make things work. Before love makes me go berserk. One never knows. How love goes. We are lost without it. But we will never admit. That no matter what we still want. What seems to haunt. Why must we chase. Love before we can embrace. At times it makes us cry. And other times leave us asking why. But then we all know in life. Love is part of the strife. We all must go through. If it is love we want to pursue. But things don’t always go our way. And we are left in dismay. Don’t stand and proclaim. The other is all to blame. You see when the time is right. Love will ignite. K.L.M 6/7/2008 |
