human nature blind me.

I have the illusion
to rule my own life.
My vanity does not let me see
that my Father is the ruler.

I struggle everyday
for "survival."
The birds don't have
the blessings I have, yet
my Father feeds them with love.

And still my childish mind
complains why I don't get
what I want. I always
want what I want NOW.

I don't see or
I don't want to see
that it's never at my time
It's always at my Father's time.

I'm such a fool, yet
He loves me, and He
caresses my head as the
loving Father He is, and
He tells me NOT YET MY SON, NOT YET.
