What I'm saying is you're all scaring me even more with your divorce horror stories! Damn! I'm gonna have to go to counseling after listening to these stories. Omg! I feel like I'm in the middle of a depressing divorce anonymous meeting. And everyones wearing their divorce like a badge of courage on their chest. "Hello, my name is sharon and I'm a divorcee." EVERYONE NOW- "HI SHARON!" divorce therapy- coming to a theatre near you- oh wait- they already have it. Its that new 'Sex in the city' movie. Or was I the only one that thought I was watching a really long boring 2 hour nissan car commercial?

Here's one for ya... We used a paralegal just to write up the papers, came to an agreement on EVERY issue amongst ourselves, still are "friends" and raise our daughter together in a united and loving way....

He irritates me sometimes as I'm sure I do him, but we actually came out of it better friends then when we still lived together, we had a very good relationship, we never cheated on each other, never did anything to put each other in jeopardy... and still to this day don't do those things to each other.

It takes TWO adutls to be in a "big boy/big girl" relationship.

I hope he finds someone, cuz he's a great person, just not one that I wanted to be married to for the rest of my life...

we did everything ourselves. No court date or anything. With a daughter, she comes first and everything else doesnt matter.

GAWD, I thought you were him for a second...laugh laugh

Us too, she comes first... Isn't that how adults are supposed to act, especially when children are involved? Don't we want to raise well adjusted well behaved children, how can we teach that and then not do it ourselves?

would you feel that they (male or female) are unfit for relationships? or what? share your thoughts. type freely.

50 % of marriages end up with a divorce and that says it all .
It depends on people as they are all different . Do you think all singles are the same or they are all bad or they are all good ?.laugh .

Well to me it is not so much how many divorces they have been through. But........more so the attitude it left them with afterwards.

Many times we get married and it just does not work out for one reason or the other. But if it leaves them with so much hate they have a difficult time moving on in life that is what I look for.

For one must deal with their feelings before they accept someone else into their life.

I would date a divorcee and if it led to marriage I would marry her without any problems.

Divorce is NOT an indicator of how fit someone is for relationships.

I've always veiwed it as this:

Divorced once, write it off to youthful indiscretion.
Divorced twice, probably made a couple bad choices.
Divorced three times, starting to get iffy.
Divorced four or more, I think we know where the problem lies.

That's a good way to put it.

And I mean no offense. I'm sick of hearing the horror stories of marriage and divorce. Sick of 20 years of divorced men and women coming over to my house, drinkin my booze, cryin on my shoulder, and sleeping on my couch. These were the same people when happily married, told me I should be married- greatest thing that's ever happened to them- don't know what I'm missing! Yeah I know what I'm missing- impending doom and gloom.

I'm thinking like me, they have 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 eyes, 2 ears. I'd be more concerned if they had a disease that was fatal and especially, contagious, to be honest.

i take vows very serious.IF the person i was interested in had been married too many time it would give me 2nd thoughts unless i was so in   i didn't care
Not speaking from experience, but from what i see you ladies and men are too quick to enter into a relationship, and it sounds like an awful lot of physical abuse is happening, which is something not to be condoned at any level
